Whiskers 680
Hey Shake, I sent a tweet your way a couple days ago, but you might've missed it. It was a link to a whole bunch of Natalie Portman gifs. I don't want you to miss that.
Ron_Mexico 4,219
Thanks brvy, believe it or not, it helps Nah, it doesnt. Love you too buddy. Keep up the good work Now, on to the debate, which is silly because I always use free weights. Dumbells, straight bar, curl bar. I just like being devil's advocate Shake, are you saying that if someone does Three months worth of machine only workouts that they won't get toned and fit and in shape and muscular? Theraflu 1,035
I think Shake is saying it's not the most efficient way to do it, and if there's one thing Shake is, it's alone.

InternetExplorer 2,609
talked to my friend, sounds like I want the GMAT, not the GRE. his study habits: "Two weeks in December to do the ground work, then took a break till early January. Did all of the problems and the periodic practice tests January and February. Did the GMAT website practice tests (these are the best tests) in March and did my final prep, took the exam March 22. Most business schools prefer the GMAT, while the rest of the colleges in the university prefer the GRE. I’ve heard that the MFE is the way to go, especially if you can pick up/have programming." speedz99 145
talked to my friend, sounds like I want the GMAT Oh, sorry if I said GRE. I probably did without thinking about it...glad you have real life friends that keep you from doing something stupid like studying for the wrong exam. That sounds like a perfect study regimen, although to get 99th percentile takes good genes in addition to a lot of studying. I took a course back in the day, when I was still pretending to myself and others that I'd go for the MBA, and it wasn't any better than studying on my own would have been. Ron_Mexico 4,219
If you werent a like snob, I woulda liked that post. That may be the perfect exercise equipment for that joke. MAYBE the gazelle by Tony Little is second. Well done, asshat
ShakeZuma 585
actually I think the gazelle thing might have had some value. wasn't that the one that was kind of like an elliptical? that tony little was something else though. and guys, I just made an awesome buffallo chicken dip for work tomorrow. it's going to be delightful. going away party for one of our foreign employees. it's gonna be a cheat day and a half I tell ya what. Roll the Bones 74
Where I used to live there was a family across the street with some of the most athletic kids I've ever seen. The one below was the youngest and was a starting corner for UK's football team. When he was little I watched his 5th grade basketball team go up 30-0 in the first half. He scored all 30 and they took him out. They would throw it in he would steal it and lay it up, or shoot, or penetrate 5 guys in the lane, etc..... Anyway, he and his older bro always flirted with my daughter. Her mom was against it because..... well, it's obvious but she was an idiot. Anywho, he is (I'm getting to the point here) is the model for workout equipment. I was busy ya know. He was on the Oxygen channel the other night being inerviewed by the older later pictured below, and her expression was priceless. It was like "zomg, look at Sal's biceps hot". Ron_Mexico 4,219
Randy got jungle fever Shake, yeah, it was that elliptical thing, but just the way it looks when you're on it, so ridiculous. The made for tv item that really works is the ab roller. The wheel with the handles sticking out of it and you roll in front of yourself when on your knees. Holy sore abs the next day. Now that we're on it, how bout that Couture cable machine. Seems odd, but any kind of aerobic movement like that will tend to tone. I'm done for now
Whiskers 680
I'm done for now Finally. Hey Shake, you need one of these:
ShakeZuma 585
holy shit on all accounts
ShakeZuma 585
but holy hell those ab rollers are the real deal. you gotta be advanced to use those. I don't use them. I don't even do a lot of abs actually. when I do, lately it's been hanging leg raises (hanging from a pull up bar, pulling my legs straight up so that my feet are in front of my hands), then hanging side leg raises (same as before but to each side, not quite as high), declined sit ups, and some other random shit. usually whatever I can think of at the moment. abs don't really mean much to me past the necessary core strength. I'm too fat for them to show anyways so why bother you know?
iQuack 128
I got a 680 on the GMAT, not sure what percentile that would be (85?), with minimal studying. The test was the ACT's on steroids. Take some good practice tests and hope you know some of the vocabulary questions and you should be good. Not sure where you are looking to go, but unless it is a top 10 school, you can get in with a shit score. The college just wants the paycheck. Still can't do a pull-up... Ron_Mexico 4,219
Hey Shake, you need one of these: A floor? but holy hell those ab rollers are the real deal. you gotta be advanced to use those. If you can do all of that, you can do an ab roller Core strength and reduction of belly size, hopefully. That's why I try to do something every time. Not saying it works, but it feels good
