GWCGWC 83
I think something is broken with this thread because I'm not seeing any links to the songs people are mentioning.

Dubey 1,035
I can listen to Giorgio multiple times because he's got a mesmerizing voice, but yeah, it's more of a history lesson than a song.
GWCGWC 83
I watched The Infiltrator (not a good movie) last night and continued watching through the credits because the following song was playing. I haven't actively listened to classic rock in over twenty years because I got burnt out from the small 500 song library commercial radio uses for that genre. Anyway, I don't know of a better example of a song that builds into a jam where you can get lost isolating any one of the instruments. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5QaVzv5aR6U

Zach6668 513
I like Mad World. I remember Dr. Hook from way back. Man, we had the album with Cover of the Rolling Stone (maybe greatest hits?) and there were some good songs on there.
FCP Bob 1,312
500 songs is being generous we have the advantage in Canada of Canadian content regulations so the radio stations have to throw in a bunch of Canadian music too and there's a lot of great Canadian classic rock to go along with the few hundred songs that American stations play. Triumph was one of my favourite bands when I was in high school and I saw them live probably 4 or 5 times. Rik Emmett can really play. http://youtu.be/Pz26fcmq3S8 http://youtu.be/BT1ircqQklo

MapleLeafpoker 1,462
I'm sure most of you have played with much bigger names and for much bigger stakes, but I'm getting a real treat out of the fact I played once at a table at the WSOP against Cliff Josephy. It was 2005! (it was a side tourney, I think a buy in into a bigger event or something, some midnight retry thing)

MapleLeafpoker 1,462
he's a pretty big name in poker and one of the good guys ya, he was really nice to me I recall. Much like now, I was just a tourist getting in the way of the pro's and he was cool about it. I saw him the next day and he was kind enough to say hi, and at the time, i didnt have a clue who he was. Only caught on years later when I saw him on tv.
pezeveng 207
I am Cheering for Qui Nguyen, the guy is a classic gambler with no fear of losing. I am sure the casino's are cheering for him as well.
Babying 613
What no love for Benger. I kind of lost a little when he lost it and blew up Kassouf. I understand the stuff Kaasouf does but I would remain silent through the whole thing
