The comma, with this picturesque covered bridge.
Ellipses, with this picture of a slightly spacey Ronald Reagan
The question mark is outdated. Now, we're using this.
And the exclamation point can be forever rendered into the dustbin of arcane literary devices in favor of this, more textural and expressive image.
