  1. Poker comps are as good as it gets.Location is as good as it gets.Price is as good as it gets (cheap).Waitresses are great! An employee confirmed that they weigh in once a week.
  2. For some reason, I have always been a good heads-up player, even though I don't take advantage of it much anymore unless I make it to a MTT final table. I don't really play SNG's anymore and pretty much only play full ring games.I started playing some heads up on UB lately and have been killing it. I think I've only lost one session in the last 20-30 and that session was almost break even. I really don't know what makes me a good hu player but just get a good feel against players hu for the most part.I don't want to make this a brag post "so my question" can these really be very profitable at
  3. Friedman got the Andy Beal treatment.I think Friedman held his own. Ivey was way up early in those matches but it turned towards the end. I think it was pretty close.
  4. I also believe that the only real tournament play he has been featured on was the TOC from 2004 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------He was featured in several episodes of the original Poker Superstars series. There were a few episodes where we got to see him play some poker. It wasn't as bad as the current series all in fests.
  5. Playing too many trouble hands out of position?Bluffing too much? That would be my guess.
  6. That statement boggles my mind. Innocent? It is one thing to think that the war in IRAQ is not the best focus of our resources in the War on Terror....It is a crazy thing to think that the regime was innocent.
  7. This is the most horrendously atrocious statement ever. Phil Hellmuth is in the upper tier of elite NL tourney players...bottom line. Sure, Hellmuth b*tches a lot, but it doesn't affect his play as much as people think. Hellmuth is one of the very best NL tourney players in the world, IF not the very best. When will people learn...... You are dead wrong. Phil was a pretty good player in the 80's and 90's when he cared, but there is simply no chance that he is among the top 20 NLH tournament players today. Off the top of my head, here are a few guys that would crush him:1. Me2. Phil Ivey3. J
  8. You shouldn't. It was a terrible fold. Folding KK when it is good is a far bigger mistake than calling against AA even when you suspect he may have it.
  9. He has won two major tournies in the past 18 months. And i think i recall his name being mentioned in some of Daniel's recent blogs about the big game.
  10. Better than I thought it would be.
  11. Why don't you just play .25/50 or $5 SNGs for fun that way you know that you specifically aren't taking the family nestegg from someone and you can still enjoy playing, not neccessarily for the money, but for fun.
  12. How can use information like "raise standard" or "raises more" in a fixed 100-200 limit game?
