They were very vague about his injury. Apparently it happened on Wednesday, but they said it wasnt his groin, which was causing him problems during the preseason. My guess was that they decided to hold him out to make sure he is fully healthy for the long road trip the team is currently on

Talk about winning one you shouldnt have. Anaheim outplayed us so badly and we had two lucky bounces go our way. Ill take 3 out of 4 points on the California stretch

He played extremely well. Will be a solid backup this year.As for the shots, you also have to realize that one of them was the empty net goal from Staal that was a clear out luckshot

Sutter just got his first goal off of a Penguin turnover. About time, he has had some great chances and has been playing really well

Ya. First period was pretty even, but the Pens were all over you guys in the 2nd and 3rd. Leighton stood on his head for the first 2 periods, though. I was worried we'd never get one.

Missed the game Saturday. Losing Sutter hurts, he was really playing well.As for tonight, I watched parts of it on a choppy stream over the internet. I see we still havent fixed our shootout woes yet. At least we did pick up a point

Frustrating loss. Ward played well and just let one by late. Tough way to lose

I believe that Cullen blocked a shot against Edmonton that bruised his leg. He is listed as day to day.As for the game today, I only saw bits and pieces of it. Its good to see that Ruutu is back into form. Leighton had a mediocre game but came up big when he needed to. It was nice to FINALLY see the power play actually create scoring chances.

Matt Cullen missed yesterday's contest with a leg injury.

Matt Cullen missed yesterday's contest with a groin injury.I have no idea which one of us is right, unless one of you are related to the guy or something.I have now read in 3 different reputable sources 3 different injuries. I hate the new NHL rules.
