Vegas Knights 54
Here's a good article on Phil Hellmuth. He'd like to win a total of 24 bracelets. Actually I was on the rail at the 1989 WSOP at the Horseshoe and can remember Hellmuth walking over to Chan's table with chips. . I can't remember if it was the final table (there might have been another table going). I didn't know who he was but I noticed him because he was very tall and talking cocky. Back then you could get real close to the players if their table was along the rail. http://www.pokernews.com/news/2014/05/hellmuth-25th-anniversary-feature-18324.htm

Michelangelo once took job he didn't want and wasn't qualified for. I'm sure his peers called him a sellout, but history calls him a Winner.

If there is a billionaire in the poker community and they want to see a certain kind of movie made, who should they get? The "Runner, Runner" writers are busy on Rounders 2, or at least I assume they are.
David_Sklansky 1,903
If there is a billionaire in the poker community and they want to see a certain kind of movie made, who should they get? Other established screenwriters with industry connections and notoriety? How about Charlie Kauffman? I won't be seeing Rounders 2, and literally don't know what Runner, Runner is, but if Kauffman writes a poker script, I'm in.

David_Sklansky 1,903
So are you saying you haven't heard of the movie "Runner Runner"? I googled it. I apparently had heard of it, but didn't even realize it had come out and forgot completely about it. It doesn't look like people even liked that film.
