The Final Table at the 2009 £10,000 WSOPE Main Event in London will be beginning soon and Daniel is starting out today as the short stack but he still has enough chips that with some good fortune he can do some damage.Daniel blogged about how high the quality of play has been for the entire tournament.http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-jour...&ucat=&Daniel will send any updates he can to his Twitter Account.http://twitter.com/RealKidPoker/Poker News as usual will be updating things.http://www.pokernews.com/live-reporting/20...ope/main-event/To my knowledge there isn't any live audio or video online of the final table.Seat 1: Barry Shulman - 1,090,000Seat 2: Jason Mercier - 3,198,000Seat 3: Praz Bansi - 1,160,000Seat 4: Markus Ristola - 784,000Seat 5: Chris Bjorin - 518,000Seat 6: James Akenhead - 1,398,000Seat 7: Daniel Negreanu - 438,000Seat 8: Antoine Saout - 701,000Seat 9: Matt Hawrilenko - 674,0001 £ 801,603 - 2 £ 495,589 - 3 £ 360,887 - 4 £ 267,267 - 5 £ 200,367 - 6 £ 150,267 - 7 £ 114,228 - 8 £ 87,074 - 9 £ 66,533 - Daniel's Twitter Updates1 October 2009, 7:55 amRealKidPoker: Up to 1.363 after doubling thru Mercier. I was railing for about 2 minutes yesterday, as the friend who accompanied me hates poker and was eager to get out of the Empire. I came in when there were 2 tables left, but some guy in the audience claimed that I was observing the final table. So I said "Oh... Did Daniel already bust out?"And he pointed at Daniel and said "No man, he's right there."Doh! Completely overlooked him - in my defense, he was sitting with his back towards the audience and there was a small crowd between him and me, which is my excuse for not recognizing him immediately. In any case - good luck at the final table, hopefully you'll double up a couple of times to get back into the action!

Negrean-upDaniel Negreanu raises to 48k...called by Markus Ristola.Flop: {J-Spades} {7-Hearts} {A-Clubs} Check-check (Negreanu's check more of a slap...)Turn: {A-Hearts} "That totally sucks!" says Negreanu, which is followed by a 60k bet from Ristola, called fairly quickly.River: {K-Diamonds} Now another couple of checks lead to Negreanu's {K-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} taking down the pot, the Aces totally sucking or no.

Negreanu Out of the Danger ZoneDaniel Negreanu and Jason Mercier saw a {6-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {3-Hearts} flop, but neither were interested in betting it.Negreanu liked the {K-Clubs} turn a little better, it seemed -- he bet out 60,000 and Mercier called, and they moved on to the {K-Diamonds} river. They checked it, and Negreanu turned over a slightly surprising {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts} for two pair, while Mercier mucked.Negreanu is up to 665,000 and no longer our shortest stack; Mercier's stack can't even feel the damage. Mr. Shortie right now is Chris Bjorin on 413,000.

The Doubled Becomes the DoublerDaniel Negreanu raises to 56k preflop, only to find Chris Bjorin (who's taken his early place as short stack) moving all-in for 397k. Negreanu makes the call and their hands are on their backs!Bjorin: {K-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}Negreanu: {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}The board emerges: {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} ...{8-Hearts} ...{2-Spades} meaning that Bjorin evens up their stacks to 800k and 900k respectively.

The Only Card Negreanu Needs Is the Ace of Spades, the Ace of SpadesDaniel Negreanu opened, and it folded around to Praz Bansi on the button who reraised to 160,000. Back to Negreanu, and a four-bet.Bansi took his time, while across the table Negreanu looked very innocent and occasionally furrowed his brow. Bansi eventually looked at his hole cards again in case they had changed into something else; they hadn't, and he went back into the tank. He said something we couldn't hear, and eventually folded."Wah! Best card in the deck," said Negreanu, flashing the {A-Spades}. Bansi's expression was unreadable.Bansi - 929,000Negreanu - 1,549,000

Eights Not Lucky for AkenheadJames Akenhead raised in early position and Daniel Negreanu called behind; everyone else folded and they were presented with a {6-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} flop.Akenhead checked to Negreanu, who bet 100,000. A call, and they now saw a {6-Clubs} turn. Again, Akenhead checked, and now Negreanu bet 162,000. A brief moment of chip riffling from Akenhead before he called. The river was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked. Akenhead turned over {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}, but Negreanu had pipped him with {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} for a pair of nines, and he took the pot.

Obviously, Daniel got lucky early to double up with set over set, but it seems he is now in comple control and feeling very comfortable. This would be a very prestigious victory so I am taking the day off from grinding and just rooting for Daniel. Good Luck!P.S. I made a prop bet last year that Daniel gets to 15 bracelets b4 Hellmuth (getting 3-1 since PH has 11 already) so I am definitely including this one if he wins it- does anyone know if they officially count WSOPE events in the bracelet count, I am assuming they do.
