From the couple of reviews on Amazon, it's supposedly like HOH3 for the beginner. Just sample hands that re-iterate the stuff taught in the LGB. From what I've heard it's very beginner/intermediate-esque. Very little for the advanced player. I may pick it up for Christmas or something. No rush for it yet.

Any good? Anyone read it yet? I loved Little Green Book and have been thinking of picking this up.

Phil Hellmuth's book isn't all that great IMO. Neither is Mike Sexton's.In terms of the weakest, I'll say Ken Warren Teaches Texas Hold 'Em as being unbearable in terms of sitting through it. Can't stand it.

I won't use this book as my end all be all, but just as something nice to add to the collection. I have most of the essentials:- Super System I and II- Theory of Poker- HOH 1, 2, 3- Phil Gordon's Little Green Book- World Poker Tour: In The Money- SSHE- Tournament Poker for Advanced PlayersSo yea.

Well, the book really has two extremes when it comes to reviews. From people saying it's the most dangerous strategy guide to ever hit the market, to people calling it suicidal poker. I haven't read it yet, but I'm assuming if you have any level of expertise in the game, it tends to lean towards the latter.Anyways, maybe I'll pick this up eventually.

As it stands right now, Terry is in good shape to make it to the final four. There are 7 people left, and he can use his immunity idol up until the final 4. So, he only needs to win two more immunity challenges to secure himself into the 4. And by the looks of it, the Casaya tribe is already split. Courtney was wanting to cut a deal with Terry down the line. If Terry gets his immunity next week, Aras' *** if off the island. I believe that the tournament you're talking about is the World Poker Open from season 3 of the WPT, with Daniel, John Stolzmann and Chau Giang in the final 3.If my memory serves me correctly, didn't Daniel call with the K8s the first time because he believed Scotty was bluffing, and the second time because it was the third time Scotty was all in and his opponent had the same hand?
