  1. i'm going to go with sdnoul on this being better than the chimp but I still love the lawsuit.anyway back to razz...
  2. true. i missed some of what you wrote. my bad.in my hand example I meant it to be (A2) 9 5 4
  3. just an awesome game in general. someone said only start with 8 or lower but I think that should be revised to an 8 or 9 low on 5th street if you have a smooth draw. say you have (A2) 5 9 4. Your 9 low is probably behind but you are drawing smooth. Obviously depends on opponents up cards and folded cards.
  4. to add on to the monkey's post...I think players who learned limit games(stud, S8, O8) first before the boom tend to stick to limit games as well.
  5. while i am not a super visible ink fan, I do dig the ink in general. its cool that your work **** lets you have that. poker tats aren't my personal type of ink but i respect the work.also to whoever said they wanted the 50 tat... the artist is Mr. Cartoon and his work ranges up to 100K. it is sick tho.
  6. i always try to cut the 6 if possible. it will kill you..i know.
  7. i'll concede daly's an effing whale. talk about a heart attack waiting to happen. I predict daly will be the first person to die during a televised golf tourney.
  8. there can be no hating on lefty! sure...he's a **** and makes some dumbass decisions lately but he is still straight ballin. look at his career wins.
  9. Tilt..." So what Daniel has been saying is correct. The players had no problem signing the waivers in the past, before they became celebraties (sp) but now that there's been this huge poker boom and there's money to be made by selling and/or endorsing items with their name and/or likeness on them, they want out of the deal"THat is not what I said. I said that the players likely want the previous releases voided but not for your reasons. I believe these releases were signed because the players were forced to sign them. They were forced to give up their rights. Not because of their marketabl
  10. to be entirely fair to you skills... I did re-read your post. I still stand by my posting your comments were idiotic on the Raymer issue. I don't dispute your lack of legal knowledge or opinion change. You state that Raymer's views aren't valid because Daniel says so in a Vblog? come off it man! that is the dumbest **** I ever heard.
  11. The complaint in no way accuses the WPT of a monopoly. Antitrust does deal with more than monopolies.
  12. you should allow someone you know to kick you in the nuts.
  13. I am going to have to half agree and half disagree. I believe that bad press is going to happen for poker and that is very unfortunate. I understand self-preservation as much as the next person and understand the stance of bring down the game.On the flip side... I feel that the player's rights deserve as much protection as is being afforded to the game. I don't think that any of these 7 players should have to sacrifice their rights so as to maintain the games image as it is today.
  14. I have seen many people state that the WPT should just change the release form and I completely agree that it needs to be changed. The problem is that even if it were changed today...the lawsuit would still be going ahead. The reason is the already existing signed release forms. I believe that the players are fighting not only for a change to the existing form but for a nullification of the previous forms.
  15. I am in agreement with HulkHogan on this. I have seen it repeatedly posted that these players could just opt to not play on the WPT. Even Daniel has said that they play or start optional tournaments at other casinos. The problem with that logic is that the WPT does have the largest fields and is the most recognizable circuit. If the players were to start or play in other tournaments they would automatically be at a severe disadvantage.
