i've read some john vorhaus stuff. basically, he is a writer before he is a poker player or teacher. i find his writing to be excellent and entertaining. however i feel he has very little to teach about poker.at best, his books are good as introductory tools. in terms of even basic strategy though, he's pretty much lost. excellent writer though.
Long signatures are really annoying.

dude, you are a dumbass, and im sure having you read super system 2 is like having a rooster read socrates. read TOP, SSHE, HOH1/2/3, Theory and Practice, hold em for advanced players et... before you even pretend to understand and implement what doyle et. al. are talking about.

yeah book one was the first one i ever bought a few years ago, and i have noticed A LOT of his basic strategical movements are fairly off, but he has excellent insight into the psychological depths of the online players' psyche, and in the regard, is unlike any poker book i have read. I do not think that even JV wants the reader to regard it as a strat book, but just as a tool to actively think about your game.
