  1. I was wondering what my fellow FCP'rs were doing to occupy the (if your anything like me) countless hours spent playing online. I started taking guitar lessons last November and now I think I'll practice a whole lot more. What are you doing with your new found free time?
  2. Congrats T. Glad to see a "charter"member get some recognition.*L*T*
  3. Don't be hatin'. Weird Al is iconic and beloved by millions. If you don't get him. you have no sense of humor. Just saying.*L*T*
  4. I min raised thinking he was just trying to steal or was semi-bluffing on a draw. I wanted him to go away. I guess I should have raised 2x or 3x his bet. I'm not convinced he would have folded even then. Unfortunately the river miracle came right on cue. Thanks for the insight. I learned something today. *L*T*

  6. Immensely so. But I got into the introspective nature of my trek. Took serious stock of my life and where I was going with it. It was a transformative experience to say the least. The monotony of the road at times was ovewhelming. But, the nice thing about touring, as opposed to "going out for a ride", is the whole "point A to point B" aspect. Seeing things in micro instead of macro (i.e. seeing the trees instead of the forest). And the people I met along the way, people I still have friendships with, are what made the journey so rich. As well as the memories. I'd do it again if my body would
  7. A spare, some patches, spokes, a full toolbag, and a thumb for when it was beyond roadside repairable. Just outside Pittsburgh, Kansas, I had my rear wheel disintegrate and had to hitch a ride into town. The guy at the shop dropped everything he was working on and built me a wheel on the spot. The kindness of strangers was one off the most amazing things I discovered on this trip.*L*T*
  8. Spring of '91. I want to do it again with my kid when he gets a little older. I better start training now.*L*T*p.s. Scan those suckers! I want to see them.

  10. The Eagles have officially become, "THE FASTEST TEAM IN THE NFL". The Wildcat formation with Vick, or Westbrook, of DJax. or Maclin. There aren't enough D-backs in the entire NFC East to cover the Eagles offense. Gonna be fun year for us Eagle fans.*L*T*Fly Eagles fly,On the road to victory.Fight Eagles fight,Score a touchdown 1, 2, 3.Hit'em low, hit'em high,And watch our Eagles fly.Fly Eagles fly,On the road to victory.E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!E A G L E S
  11. I'm thinking I may need to get me some fruit trees planted soon. I like having fresh apples and pears to eat in the fall. Did you plant those or did they come with the property? If you did, were they hard to get established and how long before you got any fruit from them?*L*T*
  12. Why am I not surprised that this is the first response in this thread? Well, what kind and how are they doing?*L*T*
  13. I just came in from harvesting a butt load of grape and yellow pear tomatoes, as they are absolutely going gangbusters for me this summer, and it got me to wondering........does anyone else have a garden going this summer? What do you have planted? And how are they doing?I have a small garden with:Moby Grape TomatoesYellow Pear TomatoesDasher II CucumbersCrimson Sweet Watermelons King Arthur Bell PeppersBanana PeppersJalapeno PeppersMy garden is doing fantastic this year (this is my first attempt at a real garden) so much so that I am really wondering if I am going to have to learn to can the
