and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

Mex and Colby: You guys staying or going? What happens to your shingles during one of these things? If half your shingles are gone will your homeowners replace your roof?

As Ron said, we took off on Wednesday afternoon. Schools were closed Thursday/Friday, so Beth wasn't going to have to work. I expected they would also close Monday/Tuesday, and they've actually ended up cancelling this whole week. The drive up to my dad's took 14 hours (normally about 9). We stayed with him for 1.5 days then went to my mom's for a few days. We drove back Tuesday afternoon. That ended up taking 16.5 hours (normally 10). Probably the longest drives without more than 10min breaks I've ever done where I did all of the driving.

Everyone's safe though. House is fine. Roof stayed put. Insurance would've covered it though. It did blow out some screens on our patio, but those were already in disrepair and needed replacing.

I got into the habit of having 2-3 big pours after work. It took me too long to recognize how much damage the high proof alcohol was doing. The cavity was the wake up call, but after I cut back, I realized that the bigger problem was the sleep disruption. I brought back a little moderation, started measuring pours, and life improved quite a lot.

The experience reminded me of waking up to how fat I had gotten, and making a game out of the weight loss.

Actually what we need is a single payer system that doesn't require FSA's or HSA's or insurance plans.

I'm not looking forward to the government deciding that I can wait 4 months to take care of something that would take 30 minutes now.

Napa have you lost your goddamn mind? I'm not gonna ride a bike on the street like some poor person.

I will investigate the bike stand and bike idea out of respect for you though. But only so i can laugh at the idea later.

I SAID I WAS SORRY

Let's never forget that Tilt was upset at Napa. OK EVERYONE?? IT WAS NAPA.

Side note: Did anyone else find it crazy weird that Tilt snapped like that? Like for years I, and then Thera and everyone else were doing our best to run him off, and then I start being nice and Thera basically ignores him and he goes crazy and leaves. It seriously screws with my head.

I mean, I still made plenty of good, mean barbs, at basically every opportunity. There just weren't that many chances, so it felt like less.

Never let an awful cancer change your opinion of someone. That's what I always say.
