Hellmuth Wants 11 More Bracelets.

Recommended Posts

Here's a good article on Phil Hellmuth. He'd like to win a total of 24 bracelets. Actually I was on the rail at the 1989 WSOP at the Horseshoe and can remember Hellmuth walking over to Chan's table with chips. . I can't remember if it was the final table (there might have been another table going). I didn't know who he was but I noticed him because he was very tall and talking cocky. Back then you could get real close to the players if their table was along the rail.

write a screenplay about him why don't you.

If I did, how's this for a title:

"Dodging Bullets, Baby"

To Suited Aces,

I'd write a screenplay about any topic if the money was right, It's just a matter of doing the research,

You won't catch me judging you. Michelangelo once took job he didn't want and wasn't qualified for. I'm sure his peers called him a sellout, but history calls him a Winner.

The money will never be right...

If there is a billionaire in the poker community and they want to see a certain kind of movie made, who should they get? The "Runner, Runner" writers are busy on Rounders 2, or at least I assume they are.

Other established screenwriters with industry connections and notoriety? How about Charlie Kauffman? I won't be seeing Rounders 2, and literally don't know what Runner, Runner is, but if Kauffman writes a poker script, I'm in.

I googled it. I apparently had heard of it, but didn't even realize it had come out and forgot completely about it. It doesn't look like people even liked that film.
