How can you win when you lose in the first round?? OH NO!!! Lol.......j/k. Unless you do lose in the first round...then I get credit for calling it. If you win.....then I was just joking.

I doubt a DN/EVY table is gonna be the first round featured table...I'm sure they'll find another table with more "recognizable" names and faces to the more general audience. No offense to DN or anything..but the general public that only vaguely follows poker are more familiar with Doyle Brunson and Phil Hellmuth and maybe Phil Ivey then they are with Dn or Evy.

Well you gotta remember, that pretty much they showed three or four tables per episode in the bracket of 64.I don't remember the first episode at all.Second one I remember it was:Negreanu & BussHellmuth & NguyenChan & Woods (With quite a lot of peeks over at Lederer & Esfandiari on the side)Now, I'm not saying this will be the case this year. But pretty much, Negreanu is still a name that people can associate with Poker. yeah, maybe not as much as Doyle, or Johnny Chan. But once again, I still think it'll be a featured table. And besides, you're forgetting the trump of all things on TV: Human interest. Daniel Negreanu -vs- ex girlfriend. That does it all right there :club:

I've taken the road less travelled in my picks, and I'll either look like an idiot or a genius! Or just an idiot.Le over BrunsonNegreanu over IveyNegreanu over Le.Sort of that "If I play 72 all the time and i hit a 772 flop, no one will know!" strategy.

I am guessing the draw was supposed to be random, and I am sure it was. However, the matchups are kind of like the opening week of NFL football, or the NCAA bracket's. You have Daniel And Evelyn who are close friends, you have David and Josh who are close friends, and you have Jennifer and Paul who are somewhat married. I think its fun but at the same time a little comedical. Good for TV.... I am sure NBC wanted these matchups.Fina Four = Daniel, Ivey, Lindgren, and HellmuthThen, Ivey and LindgrenWinner LindgrenAnd yes I am a huge Daniel fan...
It's true what they say about money... it can't make you happy. However, the small things you can do with it, can bring happiness to others.

Hank's tenure at Soulsuckers, INC, LLC, DBA TBD, had not been long, but it had been distinguished... By drunkenness, hair-trigger violence, and a total lack of performance. I would call it a steady decline in performance, but that would imply that he performed at one point in time. In fact he had not. He was drunk.
