Ok, Ok, Ok......I know this is a "fold preflop" hand. Let's just get past that right away. I'd been sitting at the table for over an hour and had zero quality hands. He is a calling station that simply cannot get off a hand and NEVER has an accurate read on his opponent. I just know you made your straight. Well if you are bluffing that you made your straight..." ...and so on, for about 5 minutes. and he finally calls. 5 limpers, one of those being a massive calling station, you have straight and flush possibilities, a call isn't a bad move at all...

anyone else find the irony?;)i personally think you need more money behind you to play this hand....i wouldn't say fold PF cause it's J7s, I'd say fold pf cause you have ~32 big blinds.- Jordan

Believe me the irony of losing to what was only marginally less crappy cards was not lost on me!My stack was certainly an issue, but sort of inherent in playing at a table where the Max Buy-in is only $100 I had already paid $18 in table time and $12 in blinds.

I think they're suggesting that you reload rather than get down to the $65 level, since the buy-in is so short to begin with.

This is the determining factor for why I'd fold preflop. Playing that hand in position is fine, but you didn't have a deep enough stack to make it really profitable I think. But yeah, either have more chips or dump it preflop.Post flop, everything is fine, so don't worry about it.

Depends on the Casino and even the table. For example, at the same Casino at the $200 table, you can reload to $200 anytime.

Where was this?Every single casino I've ever played in either has a max amount you're allowed to buy in upto, or at some places, if you get below a certain level, you can rebuy a full buyin. For example, at Foxwoods, they used to have a 1/2 game where it's a max 100 buyin, but if you're below $40, you can rebuy a full 100.

I would be interested to see how you would have played the hand if you had more money on the table. I agree with another poster though, that raising pre-flop would be pretty interesting as well. Since we know one of our opponents is a calling station, if we flop him dead, we're doubling up. Raising pre-flop also gets the tight guy out, which is one less factor to worry about after the flop.Otherwise, I wouldn't say you overplayed the hand, it was probably unlucky that one of our opponents had a higher flush in his hand. You really had no choice, in my opinion, but to go all in with your last $30 on the turn.
