Trade Ted Ginn to the Browns. We can have him and Josh Cribbs be retuners and WRs.

What? I know the Dolphins are dumb, but you don't seriously think they would consider drafting McFadden? Not when they already have Brown, Williams, and Chapman.Unless they can get a young talented QB for the 1st round pick, there's no reason to trade it. That's the posistion they need to improve on the most. They do that, and then worry about the other posistions. They seem to have it backwards. If Brennan has a great game against Georgia, there will be a lot of pressure on the Dolphins to draft him.

excellent. despite their best efforts, the dolphins won! i dont know who greg camarillo is or where we got him but well done sir.oh and the dolphins have a gigantic void at DT and there is no QB worthy of #1 so Glenn Dorsey should be the obvious selection. Of course I fully expect Cameron to take a returner to improve special teams so we can win close games. (Jk sorta)still we stay out of the record books now so its a good day.

why??? you keep saying this and yet I dont understand why Brennan would be any more highly regarded than Brohm. If anything I think Brohm is a better prospect. I wouldnt touch Brennan with a ten foot pole. another dave klingler if you ask me.and again this team needs youth on defense STAT. Dorsey is the pick.

I guess I'm the type of guy that thinks the QB posistion is the most important. It's not that I believe Brennan will be amazing, I'm just ready to have anyone with potential over Lemon or Beck.

yeah thats not my point. my point is if you take a QB....why are you so fixated on Brennan?? Matt Ryan, Brian Brohm and Andre Woodson are all better prospects at this point. Maybe Dennis Dixon too if he came out....

You can get quality QB talent later in the draft though. Very rarely does a QB live up to being the number one pick. Dorsey is the sure thing. And I'm pretty sure we discussed in the Hiesman thread how Dixon is a senior, so he is in the draft.

They are not taking a QB with their 1st round pick.I still think Beck is going to be their future at QB. Many people in the NFL had Beck ranked ahead of both Russel and Quinn on their draft boards. His mechanics, decision making and delivery were easily the best out of all QBs coming into this year. The only thing he needed to improve on was the mental aspect.Obviously he didn't show too much of all that this year...but he is a rookie in the National Football League on a team that isn't that great. But he is still their future at QB.I agree with the person above who said they will take Dorsey.

yeah I was just saying IF they draft a QB....shouldnt be Brennan. personally, I dont draft a QB again unless it is a 5th round flyer or something. I agree with Dorsey 100%

I quoted your post on accident, I was agreeing with you.

I agree that Dorsey would be a great pick and addition to the team. What I don't agree with is those who think he would have a bigger impact than a QB, and I'm not just talking about Brennan. He'll definetely help out the run defense, but he will not put points on the board, at least not many. Let's not forget that there was a time when the Dolphins actually had a very talented defense. But they were always lacking and still are lacking strength at the QB posistion. I honestly wouldn't mind seeing them draft Dorsey. But I will be extremely disappointed if they don't draft a QB later on in the draft. The 3 biggest mistakes the Dolphins made this season (imo)1. Hiring Cam Cameron - Who knew he would be this bad? I had high hopes for the guy, but he's let a lot of fans down. 2. Taking Ginn over Quinn - Sure we haven't really seen what Brady can do, but Ginn hasn't done much this year either. Not that most rookie WRs do, unless of course, your first name is Randy and your last name is Moss. Until Quinn gets his start and doesn't do anything, I'll always believe he would have been the better pick. 3. Getting Trent Green - I'll never understand what they saw in an old, washed-up, injury prone QB.

There is enough QB talent in the draft you can get better value drafting a QB later on which is pretty much what we are all saying, where Dorsey is an immediate impact player from day one.

Bill Parcells??? eh, not thrilling news to me unless he is going to coach. I suppose having a name hire is good for morale and the dolphins could use any positive news.Other rumblings....Glenn Dorsey has some injury flags from this year so word on the street is the Dolphins may consider drafting Virginia DE Chris Long (and subsequently trade Jason Taylor to a winner for extra draft picks.)I still like Dorsey....as Albert Haynesworth has showed this year, a dominant DT makes everyone else's job so much easier. However, if they could trade down a couple spots to a team desperate for McFadden and still pick up Long.....that would be pretty great. The scouting report on Long is very positive....

I just read something in the Orlando Sentinel that I found quite strange. They were going over some of the top draft picks, and said the Dolphins would probably pick up McFadden with the 1st round pick. Are there serious? Maybe I don't know as much as I thought I did. Is there a legitimate reason why they would even consider another running back?

It's the Adrian Peterson effect...A lot of people compared the 2 a little over a year ago. No one wants to miss out on the next great RB.Personally, I think Ronnie Brown is a great (and can be all-time great if injuries don't stop him), but you never know what they would be thinking.

Parcells is a guy who will want to keep a Jason Taylor and get rid of a Zach Thomas. I don't think he will be trading away Taylor. I still think Dorsey is their pick if they can't trade down.I think this is great for the Dolphins. They won't make a rash decision at QB which is a good thing (because Beck will be good).

No, they need a QB.

Real question.. what makes you think Beck will be good?
