Hellmuth, Antonio, Laak, Tilly, Schneider, Jeff Madsen, I THINK I saw Erica Shoenberg (sp?) but didn't see her the rest of the night so I dunno. Roy Winston, the one drunk guy that Lindgren famously dissed by not high fiving him, and a bunch of young kids who I'm sure were all poker pros.I didn't think I had a shot at this. I know KO (Kevin O'Donnell) through some friends and he said the bidding would start at $3KI had dinner with Lobster, Nutz, Trussdude, Looshle, and their gfs and another friend. 10 in all. Shitty service, but I guess there was a big party there.. smile.gifKO came over and said the bidding would start soon. I told him my story about how Cantu berated me. He passed it on to Hellmuth.Oh, awesome quote: At one point Hellmuth runs by us and says: "Do you guys know where the camera guys went?" LOL HellmuthSo Hellmuth calls up Cantu, and is like: I heard there is someone here who you berated that wants to Taser you. Where is he? So I cheer, my group cheers, and Hellmuth says what do you want to start the bidding at? I say $2K. He says minimum of $3K so I snap $3K it.Lots of Clonie talking, blah blah.Antonio makes it $3200Looshle snap bids $3400 for us.Hellmuth makes me come up to the front. For the next five minutes he, Antonio, and Clonie fight for TV time. Clonie: Oh let me taser you for $10K Phil. Antonio: Phil, how aobut you and I play HU for $100K and the winner gets to taser the other one too. blah blah. Finally Clonie starts in with the "come on, lets raise some money for charity bit and wants to get the bidding started again. I grab the mic from Hellmuth and say I'll bid $4K if we lock it down right now.Boomsauce bitches. Clonie asks me if I'm writing a check. Straight cash homies.So more fighting for TV time. I'm literally trying to stay somewhere near the middle of the group because of all the personalities fighting for the spotlight.So I'm like, where is the gun? And the guy from Taser is like, you can't shoot him. I have to do the shooting.I'M LIKE WTF I JUST PAID 4K YOU DONKEY I'M ****ING SHOOTING THE GUN!We argue about this for about a minute and I'm about to lose it. I tell him I'm holding that gun and pulling the trigger. He relents but holds it with me.I pull the trigger, pandemonium breaks loose.I forget to say: You could have folded because I suck.Looshle remembers and is yelling it.Cantu goes down.
