mk 11
This is kind of gross. I have to watch CNBC all day at work, and they air the same commercials every hour on the hour. Jaguar frequently advertises on CNBC, and their new ad features "I Turn My Camera On" off Spoon's Gimme Fiction. I love that song. Hating it in T minus 10, 9, 8...

Its when priscilla makes her entrance and I dont know who sings it or what it is..anyone know what im talking about?I think they made that song just for the movie - as a take off on other songs used for those kind of entrances.....I could be mistaken, but that's my best guess

mbreon 0
have you seem radiohead in concert? They are my favoriteRadiohead is amazing in concert. Probably the best thing I have ever seen live. I caught them a few years ago when they were touring with Beta Band and Kid Koala. Beta Band was a hell of an opening act too, I must say.........I plan on catching them at Bonnaroo this summer. Radiohead and 90,000 music fans, should be a good time.
KDawgCometh 2
o man, I just don't know what to say. I'm catching up and I'm seeing people try to pimp out DMB big time, no, cater beauford isn't a sick drummer, he's aight and Dave matthews is a horrible guitarist and is an okay song writer. As someone who was a music major, my ears want to bleed when I hear them play and as a follower of the jam band scene for the past 10 years, I disdain DMB with a passion. If you want a killer drummer, listen to chris martin from MMW. Well, just look at my sig for which band I prefer in the genre overall, I am also very much a big Umphreys fanlately, I've been listening to my freddie jones band disc a lot and have been listening to the RHCP songs off their unreleased album that got leaked out on the innernet
Don Giovanni 0
woa DMB pwned!i remember one time some guy trying to tell me dave matthews band had the best guitarist in the world (whoever it is that plays guitar for them)by the way kdawg, do you know of any jazz bands led by a bass clarinet player? how sweet would that be. I wouldn't doubt that some regional guy has/does do it. I know that Ken Vandermaark plays the Bass Clarinet, but he also plays the Tenor Sax and Bb Clarinet, so he would be the only guy off the top of my head that I can think of that leads a working group that plays the Bass Clarinet consistently

BIG_L_RIP 0
Don't need to be a music major to know that DMB is hideous. Also, if you lik Radiohead, check out Aphex Twin and Autechre. Thom Yorke hiomself cites them for Radiohead's 'new' sound, a sound that's been around 15 years.

All are great. Also, I have been going crazy on the Elliot Smith lately.
KDawgCometh 2
Ahh...good to know I'm not alone. Thanks for coming to the rescue. Let's get our top 100 band list going again.I still have the list of 64, so we're gonna need to take a look and see who to add. My only request is that emo stays the hell away from it Don't need to be a music major to know that DMB is hideous.no, you definetly don't, but for people to talk about their instrumental abilities without ever really having studied musical performance, I as someone who did, find it silly. What can I say, I also like to puff my chest out when I can
