So, I went to Phoenix on Wednesday with a bunch of buddies for my Bachelor party. Joe Colbourne happened to be on our flight, my brother knows him from working out at NSD in Calgary. He ended up sitting right next to us all on the plane. We were all drinking together on the plane, and when we got to Phoenix, we had a party bus to pick us up at the airport, so we told Joe he could hitch a ride with us to the house he was staying at for the weekend. Just before we dropped him off, he said to me "Hey man, I know it's your party and I don't want to intrude, but is it cool if me and Jake Gardiner come out and party with you guys tonight?".

So, Long story short, on the first night of my bachelor party, we partied with Joe Colbourne and Jake Gardiner. Both unbelievable guys. Colbourne in particular was one of the nices guys I've ever met. I got some pics on my phone I'll try to post 'em up later if I have time.

Is it a coincidence that every good team in the league follows the "fancy video game stat Geek" model of thinking? and NHL seasons aren't 68 games long, unfortunately.

I had this thought process of blasting into you, getting all mad and belligerent, and then I realized, whats the point. I don't know you, I don't really know what makes you tick, and at the end of the

I guess I'll disclaim this by saying I'm a huge Sundin fan. He's probably my favourite player of all time.   First: Nobody knows exactly what happened. The Leafs couldn't work out a trade with a pla

This is just insanity...A team that we "beat" is about to win the Stanley Cup...(maybe jinx them, even better)

If the Bruins win the cup, I think the Leafs should get their name on there too, for handing them game 7.

If my team is going to lose a championship I want the team that beats them to win it all. I would rather lose to the champs than a team that gets to the next round(s) and gets beat.

Your brother should of asked them on the prospect of having Dallas Eakins be his coach next year..

Eakins looks like he will be coaching in the NHL, might be the Oilers.

I actually asked Joe about Eakins at the airport when we were both sober (ish). He likes him a lot. Says he's not quite as up on the technical aspects of coaching as Randy is (line matching and in game stuff), but from a personal standpoint, he says he's the kind of guy you really want to play for, and everyone that plays for him absolutely loves him.

I'm going to puke if he ends up going to the Canucks as a head coach.

the Leafs are the only team I know of that does this. do other teams?

the Pens give away the jerseys off their backs in the final home game, maybe the Leafs do too, I don't know, lots of teams do.

not that I begrudge capitalism or profiteering, but this would irk me a little if it weren't some sort of charity-based operation.

I have been to a few of these sales. If you want anything you have to get there early. Prices however are extreme. I always went at the end when they want to get rid of stuff. Game socks were $2 each. I think I grab 5-8 pairs (they are presently sitting in my basement collecting dust). I remember getting 2 pairs of game used gloves. One of them were Mike Van Ryn's gloves. I got him to sign them before he left the Leafs. I am not sure where the money goes to but since they don't advertise a charity I would expect it to go directly to the Leafs.

Got the following text from a friend, who CLAIMS this is from a very credible source..I dont buy it, but very interesting:

Leafs have offered two mid level roster players and a package of draft picks to Tampa for the 3rd overal pick and Vinny Lecavalier, who would then be bought out.

While interesting not sure the validity of such a humongous deal.
