iBeaver 409
With any luck you'll go on a 8 yr playoff run with at least one cup and first rd losses won't bother you anymore. Next year will make up for it I think.
Dubey 1,035
its been 2 days..but still have this doom and gloom feeling..Its not gonna go away for a while.. This sucks... I can't walk by my couch without having a vivid memory of me jumping up and down screaming "IT'S A GOAL, IT'S A GOAL, IT'S A GOAL" like an 8 year old kid when Kessel scored the 3rd goal, and then I just feel sad again.
serge 904
I can't wait till next season. I guess it's sort of interesting that we experienced the low of lows. Something we will tell our grand kids about. Onward.
Dubey 1,035
I remember in 2001 or 2002 we came back from 5-1 in the third period in a playoff game against the devils with Steve Thomas getting the tying goal in the dying moments, but then a pass deflected off of Cory Cross' skate and into our net in OT. Why couldn't tat have happened to Boston in OT of game 7?
digitalmonkey 929
I thought Boston should've pulled their goalie to start OT.

The Cory Cross incident happened in OT of game 3.

Zach6668 513
So, if it's cool with Serge, I'm going to use this thread as the "Zach asks dumb questions about Toronto and you guys answer them in your free time" thread. I was just messing around on Google Maps and stumbled across this burger joint, The Burger's Priest. Have any of you guys eaten there? Did you eat a burger with two grilled cheese sandwiches as buns instead of regular buns, because that's what I want right now in my face. http://www.theburgerspriest.com/ Also, tell me everything I need to know about where to eat in Toronto. I found a Chipotle right by where my classes are going to be, and that makes me happy, as I've never lived in a city with a Chipotle. I guess pretty much everything is right there, with Dundas Square, Eaton Centre, and the rest of Yonge St, but anyways, I want Chipotle now too.

You living in Toronto for the next 2 years and going to Ryerson? If so I use to work at University/Dundas for 3 years and know the area well. If you want to walk west towards the bus terminal there is a chinese restaurant that I love going to. The Chilli Chicken on rice is so good. http://yuehtungrestaurant.com/ The Burritto place just west of Bay on Dundas is okay. I hit it up once in a while. Someplace cheap to eat, go to New Treasure restaurant. It is located below a Starbucks and Subway. The Java Joe's near University is okay. Tell them I sent you, I am their Accountant.
