Fenxis 99 Posted April 26, 2013 Share Posted April 26, 2013 If someone picks up a player off waivers at 11:59 pm when he wasn't eligible to be picked up until midnight, do we allow that? Someone else puts in a claim for the same player at 12:03. Who gets the player? Do we go with intent or do we follow the rules? Rules are designed to eliminate such problems. IMHO it's about context. If in this example I would vote that Owner B would win their winner claim. However if Owner B tries to do a pickup the next day in the middle of the afternoon I would vote to let the transaction stand. Likewise having a lineup a minute or two typically doesn't make a material difference -- the anthem singers usually haven't made their way onto the ice yet at that point. I'm going to be there as Jay's proxy...no reason I couldn't run your draft list as well if you want Wayne. The auction would be more of a challenge but the draft is easy as long as you list/rank your top 75 the way he'll be doing. Also, if someone could give me details when they're available, that would be great. Hoping we can make a return visit to Harbour Sports Grille...if we're still welcome there. Adam, Toronto is full of amazing steak houses...Depends on how much your budget is..If you really want to go overboard Harbour 60 is amazing..Very pricy, but I would recommend it.. Harbour Sports Grill is no more, they've closed.
