Is it a coincidence that every good team in the league follows the "fancy video game stat Geek" model of thinking? and NHL seasons aren't 68 games long, unfortunately.

I had this thought process of blasting into you, getting all mad and belligerent, and then I realized, whats the point. I don't know you, I don't really know what makes you tick, and at the end of the

I guess I'll disclaim this by saying I'm a huge Sundin fan. He's probably my favourite player of all time.   First: Nobody knows exactly what happened. The Leafs couldn't work out a trade with a pla

Possibly but if you are going to cheer against the leafs, no reason to do in a place that is 99 percent leaf fans..Stay home IMO..

LOL. If by some miracle that the Caps and Leafs play, my son and I will be sitting in the nosebleeds in the Verizon Centre with our Leafs jersey on. Only $100 a ticket.

LOL at $100. IF NYR win, $100 is the price for parking

who would be dumb enough to drive to MSG? lol

Most people don't but If you are coming from NJ, Westchester or from more than an hours train ride away then driving in might be the best option if $ is not an issue

Just checked on Stub Hub, there are some reasonably good tickets for around $200 each for tonights game in Boston..

Why cant we have this luxury here..We live in a town, where we cant even go the Maple Leaf square viewing outdoors on a screen unless we get there hours before gametime.

My guess is even at MSG, they might about half of what it is in Toronto.

For game 3 of 2nd rd at MSG for a Leafs/NYR series in my section, my guess is that the going price would be around $400 (Face would be $150)

What a wonderful period of hockey. Fantastic. Thoughts:

- I hope Gunnarsson has his ass on the bench as much as possible. Nervous out there, not clean with the puck.

- At some point, Lupul, Grabovski, Colborne and all the other guys buzzing are going to take advantage of the young Bruins D out there. Well, it's going to keep happening. And the Leafs are going to keep getting better chances if they can keep their energy up.

- Carlyle is doing a good job getting ice time spread across 4 guys. The top lines have had a lot of energy. Chara is going to get tired throwing elbows and high sticks for 30 minutes of ice time.

- Both teams look great. Bruins look more skilled - getting to first pucks more easily, getting control in both zones more effortlessly. But I like the breakout Carlyle is running, and the Leafs have so many guys skating and seeing the ice well, it's pretty amazing.

I'm going to get some dinner before Cherry says something stupid. Good luck for the rest of the game, to everyone. The Leafs have had more chances, it's exciting, but nervewracking as hell.

Damnit, just caught the first sentence of Cherry. "Everyone says playing it off the glass is stupid."

NO ONE HAS EVER SAID THAT. EVERYONE SAYS EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE YOU STRAWMANNING *******.

Leafs advantage is their speed.

Hey let's make their fastest skater a healthy scratch and let another fast player in Frattin join him.

Sorry, Game 1 coaching flashbacks

Regarding Wayne's comment about caps tickets. We drove to DC the night before game 4 and called ticket master morning of game 4 of the finals in 98 and got 3 tickets for $70. People in the metro on the way to the game had no idea the Caps were even in the finals.

In the interest of fairness, the Leafs have done several things this period to Chara that would not be considered legal bodychecks.

And that was a weak penalty on Lucic.
