Whiskers 683
Instead of putting everyone in danger because he's wandered off again, now he just kills them himself.
hank213 1,824
I thought the scene where Rick expected Carl to take criticism for executing that kid was great. I've done a complete 180 on hating Carl when the group was at the farm, he's a pretty great (if not underused) character now. carl is adapting to the new world better than any other character i think. the whole shooting the kid scene, i think he was right. if you ask yourself the question "what would the kid have done had our roles been reversed?" i think shooting him was the way to go. Well that certainly explains why everybody else got so upset about it.
ajs510 122
i think shooting him was the way to go. Totally agree, especially after hearing him give his reasoning on why he didn't hesitate.
Whiskers 683
That wasn't reasoning; that was rationalizing.

SuperJon 175
It looks like the focus is going to be on the action, which is pretty much a must if this season is to be enjoyable. Then again, that trailer could all be one episode.
hank213 1,824
can't even get through one episode without getting pissed off. so all those walkers roam around on the roof just fine avoiding weak spots until people start moving below. that happens and the roof is suddenly made of melted swiss cheese? lazy. BigDMcGee 3,367
can't even get through one episode without getting pissed off. so all those walkers roam around on the roof just fine avoiding weak spots until people start moving below. that happens and the roof is suddenly made of melted swiss cheese? lazy. you're just going to have to let some stuff like that go, if you're going to enjoy the show at all. To me, it seemed like the writers were like " hey.. you know what would be cool? having raining zombies.!" and they wrote out the best way they could to have raining zombies. And you knwo what? It was pretty cool You know what I'd like this show to have? Cameos (or even main characters) from other shows and universes, who are part of this show, and they never really refrence it. Like, I'd really like it if Cutty was ACTUALLY Cutty, or DeAngelo was DeAngelo or something. I think that would be tremendous. I'd love to see a Heisenberg zombie cameo too. timwakefield 69
So I finally read the comic, and am now up to date on it. It's goddam brilliant, and makes me way more annoyed at the show than I already was.
SuperJon 175
I guess the whole "let's find out about Daryl's history" shtick didn't last very long. Also, note to self: if zombies fall through a ceiling, sometimes they explode. .
Governator 54
I don't why the walkers started just falling through the roof at complete randomness, but raining zombies is pretty flippin awesome & hilarious. I really liked the episode, maybe could have had a 5-10 minute intro to the new life at prison and the characters but otherwise it was nice to hear characters actually talk and have personality. Why is it bad for Carol to teach kids how to kill zombies with knives?... zomg she didn't get approval? meh
Essay21 2,387
Carl has to go. That kid is not good at acting and I don't enjoy him. Glad that deangelo didn't die. He already died I prison once, I dont want to see it happen again.
GWCGWC 83
I think DeAngelo and Cutty have to stay around for awhile because they can't keep going around and killing off the color. This isn't Star Trek in the late 60's for cripes sakes. That and Cutty's awesome. I've held off on reading the comics because it will ruin the little enjoyment I get out of the show. Nothing....and I mean nothing makes any tactical sense on this show.

Nothing....and I mean nothing makes any tactical sense on this show. I held off on reading the comics until last month, and I'm really glad that I finally read them. The show is only sort of following what happens in the comics (it follows it very closely at the beginning but much less so as it goes on), so I wouldn't worry too much about the comics spoiling what's gonna happen on the show. There are characters in the comic that aren't in the show and vice versa, and at this point it's really not gonna spoil things like who's gonna die when because they're not following the comic that closely anymore. SuperJon 175
From the ign.com review As to fan favorite Mr. Daryl Dixon, if this were the movie Contagion, then he would likely be the one who infected patient zero. Patient zero in this case is of course redshirt number two, sweet Patrick, who some may say looked like a young John Landis. Here is what appears to be the sequence of events: The pigs get sick, Daryl eats the pig, he licks his hand and shakes poor Patrick’s, who, for whatever reason, gets ill while others seem to have a resistance. Patrick quickly dies and boom - a walker is born and danger rises in the night, ready to strike out at the sleeping prison community. Seems like a reasonable theory.
SuperJon 175
3 blacks in one scene, and they all survive. What is the world coming too? I'm liking this season so far.
CobaltBlue 662
I get that they're trying to preserve some aspects of humanity, but constantly digging graves is such a huge waste of resources. Burning all that man power and land. Also, don't understand why things don't generally get locked up at night (to prevent what happened when the kid died). Additionally, don't understand why Rick was randomly burning the wood from his pigpen (more wasted resources). I mean, maybe burn it for a meaningful fire? And he was using gasoline! (An extremely limited resource.)
BigDMcGee 3,367
That's one thing that bothers me, Gasoline should really start breaking down by now. I'd really like to see how survival gets down, after the scavenging is picked clean. I need more extremely limited resource sort of Mad Max apocalypse and less infinitive ammo. I don't know that firewood is such a resource as they are kinda surrounded by woods. But shit like canned food and gas should be at crisis levels at this point.
Governator 54
The most promising thing so far was hearing "sanctuary survive" (something to that effect) on the radio. Time to ditch the boring prison.
