and after 3 days, he is risen!

If you are paying $20 for a haircut, I imagine people assume you did it yourself anyway.

Pocket change cost me my first and only black girlfriend.   It was in the middle of a roaring poker boom and I was flush in ways most men don't even bother dreaming of. Money, it was like dirt to me

And Indeed is a great search engine for jobs. They pull in jobs from all the rest, monster, hot jobs, company web sites etc... you can also post your resume there. Here's IT Project Management jobs in Vegas right now http://www.indeed.co...s,-NV-jobs.html

Oh, and shake, don't forget LinkedIn.

so I uploaded my resume to indeed, so we'll see how that goes. need to do some searching today (while at home) to find some more focused things, preferebly recruiting sites, that I can post resumes and say stuff like "I want to work here, and in this industry" not sure if that exists yet, but it'd be nice to be able to list off certain cities I was interested in so that empoloyers from that area could seek me out, but not ones from god awful places like iowa or california.

This is holding you back, sir. I used to be the same way.

Point is, you dont have to push the whole stack in at once. Honestly, picking up and moving across country at this point would be quite risky.

Id take advantage of where you live now.

yeah I know that I'm way too cautious with the whole situation, but your second point is pretty much why. I mean it sucks here, but if I sell the house, move to a new city, and shit the bed, well I'm homeless. losing everything and having zero back up plan is not something I'm very interested in. I'm just not sure what the middle ground in my situation is.

the renting out thing has crossed my mind, but I'd have to be completely out of the house to do it, no splitting, because there's only one bathroom. unless I can find some europeans that are used to that kind of thing, I doubt I'd be able to find tenents willing to split one shitty bathroom, and putting one in would have to cost north of ten grand I'd imagine. there's just too much personal time cost involved for the fixing up scenario. I'd rather lose out on ten or so grand of rent income than spend the next 2 years of weekends working on a house.

but that doesn't mean I'm not doing anything. like I said previously, I'm currently in the process of getting an appraisal on the house and land, trying to see what I'm really working with (currently delayed due to recently dead uncle). I'm also actively getting rid of as much shit as possible so I'll have less to store if I need to get an apartment somewhere. also have a friend who just bought a fancy lawnmower that wants to make money cutting other people's grass, so I've got him I can contract to cut mine if I need to leave and let the house sit (not a good option considering the cost of maintenance without getting anything out of it, but the option is there). so basically my main plan is what tilt mentioned (shoot me now), to sell the house, use that as a back up next egg until I get settled, then use it as a downpayment wherever that may be.

and I mean I say all of this from the point of view that I have to get out of this place, and that isn't necessarily true. I don't hate everything about this area. I mean I love the geography here: close to the mountains, close to the ocean, plenty of lakes and rivers, plus I've got the ~80 acres of land in my family just down the road that I love going to. the main negatives are lack of jobs, lack of entertainment options, and liberty god damn university. a lot of that technically could change with the 1% chance I can get a good job around here. so I can buy my house and start building my bunker. oh my sweet, sweet bunker.

I'll be glad when I am king and shake is first against the wall.

yeah, well, your opinion which is of no consequence. bitch.

Bought 4 new tires. $850+ dollars. I guess new rubber is good for handling, safer and all that jazz, but that stings a little

Beansey, I know what you said about the K&N Air Induction kit, but I just saw that its in sale for $224. I mean, that seems like a deal. I want to do something to my car. Exhaust is next, then I'd like to do the tuning. If i could squeeze 50 extra horse in my 5.7L V8 Hemi, i'd be tickled. I'd be happy with 400hp....for now

Well, to be fair, I'm sure Deisel jeans run small and dont have fat boy sizes, I'd probably have to buy two pair and employ a seamstress

Goddamn Disney on ice or some shit at the sprint center. Parking garage was goddamn packed. Had to go down to sub 4. Almost hit like ten little kids.

Couple of milfs though so it wasn't a total loss.

Anyone else read that long Grantland piece on Game of Thrones?

Of course.

I happen to agree with that dude on reddit.

Maybe you'd have more reddit points or gold or whatever it is that they hand out there if you just repeated all my posts.

This NCAA tournament has kind of sucked, right? I'm not just getting more NBA snobby?

aaaaaactually they run a little large it seems. I got a 32 and they're pretty damn loose. could probably go down to a 30, especially if I can get under 160 (at 162.4 as of friday, so still a fatty). in levis a 32 is almost tight. don't know how lee's fit so I can't help you with a comparison.

Whatever man, I'm drunk

At this point yesterday you were clearly in second place....

Id explain but I cant remember

Chick that just sat down next to me with her boyfriend is super cute.

Why am I the only idiot doing this? I wanna see Iowa, Vancouver, KC, Strats basement. Cmon

Hey man.... I give it my all. Live tweeted from a strip bar, even

Even have one somewhere of such a long piss by the road it wouldnt upload...

Stream went from one side of the road to the other. Impressive

because there's only one bathroom.

You can throw in a basic bathroom for five hundred a fixture.... but youd have to do it all yourself

Some friends of mine are going nuts trying to get me to start building "little houses"

A while back I converted a twenty by twenty outbuilding like you see in Lowes parking lot into a small cabin by the lake. Full kitchen, bath, living area, and one bedroom. Probably cost me a total of six grand for everything but its pretty damn nice if I say so myself

If the deal goes through, the plan is to build a man made lake and scatter them around it for weekend getaways. Mass produce them here and trailer them up as theyre built.

Another pending project is converting used fifty three foot semi trailers into two portable "motels" each. Fold down porches on the side and walk up balconies on top. Pull them around the country to large events like sturgis and the like...

Im rambling again

Beansey, I know what you said about the K&N Air Induction kit, but I just saw that its in sale for $224. I mean, that seems like a deal. I want to do something to my car. Exhaust should be first. Hands down the best way to increase power....

Think about this.... how often do you hold the pedal to the floor?

Not much. During normal driving the throttle...which is a round entrance with a disc like a stove damper inside, is barely cracked open.

Unless youre doing quarter mile runs on a regular basis, that throttle is a huge restriction. It dont matter if you have a giant pipe connected to it sticking straight out the grill. Motor wont get any more air unless its floored to the mat.

Exhaust is different.... the stock system is designed for emissions and sound. The engine has to fight the restriction of the catalytic converter and muffler constantly from idle on up. Compare it to blowing thru a straw and then a paper towel tube.

Do you have smog tests there? If not, unbolt the converter and hollow the bastard out. Takes a few minutes with a crow bar and hammer. Then put in a high flow muffler. Done.

Youll get a noticeable seat of the pants improvement at all speeds and better mileage as well

What did Beans say about it? The mechanics I worked with always laughed at the people that bought K & N stuff, since it was so expensive.

maybe it would be a good thing to you, but not to me when that d1 school is filled with weird ass jesus freak liberty fags that you can't escape and when that d1 school buys up every piece of property in the area that it can to build dorms or just to own or to deface entire mountains and certainly not when that d1 school actively blocks any expansion of business in the city like blocking a hooters or anything else even mildley risque.

fuck liberty.
