That was great although the Dolphins have not run a zone read play since the Wildcat so no surprise it caught everyone off guard. That might have been Sherman's only good play call of the day tho. Yes, the Miami defender was holding more then he should have, but the ball was so overthrown and going out of bounds, there's no way he could have made the catch. Link to post Share on other sites

And I actually felt that the defender kind of dipped his shoulder and didnt exactly lead with his helmet on the out of bounds play. I'm in the camp that plays during the regular action of a game is just a shit happens thing. Some hits are egregious and need to be flagged and fined. Those fines are hefty. Say you're making rookie money, $350k, a $25k or $50k fine is steep. It should be a percentage of your cap number for that year. Link to post Share on other sites

The offense juat seems terrible and devoid of any true skill guys on the outside. Dropped balls, overthrown balls, no separation at all. Just 3 yards by run, 3rd and long, punt. Boring. At least when they sucked, you wondered what shit storm was coming next. So undynamic (a word?) at TE, then Fasano goes and makes that grab in the endzone. Crazy. But they need so much on O. Fasano makes 2-3 amazing grabs per season but is separation challenged like every other Dolphin 95% of the time. My friends and I would play but whoever used the best team was a puss. We would spin the teams and wherever it landed, you could go up one or down one and that was the matchup. I actually threw 7 picks in my first game, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. On a completely unrelated note, I really love that NFL Play 60 commercial with Cam Newton. You want to have fun while you're playing, and for me that's more fun with players that can do amazing things, thing drudging through a season eeking out wins with scrubs. Now, when playing your friends, it's key to have an even match up. Even against friends that are better than me, I refuse to pick a significantly better team than they pick. I would prefer we both pick good teams, so it's more fun to play, but if he picks the browns, I'm going dolphins, just the way it is. Link to post Share on other sites

The Steelers have to lose their last game against the Browns IN PITTSBURGH. And, for reasons unknown because of a tiebreaker situation with the Steelers, the Jets have to lose at least one of their last two games. (against the Bills or Chargers) There are also tie issues that could come up, but since they are unlikely I didn't include them. Link to post Share on other sites
