ajs510 122
yes and yesso crappy I've seen it at least 40 times, no joke.I'm probably pretty close to that number, it was my favorite movie when I was between like 10 and 13. Wish I had thought of The Final Countdown when I was making my list, that could easily go in there somewhere between 25 and 40. (I'm sorry...I have Europe stuck in my head now too if it's any consolation)
digitalmonkey 929
I'm working on a list. I'm considering breaking it down into a pre-1980 list and a 1980-present list...which would essentially be two lists.Pre-19801. A Clockwork Orange (1971)2. Jaws (1975)3. Alice in Wonderland (1951)4. Cool Hand Luke (1967)5. Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977)6. Network (1976)7. The Godfather (1972)8. The Godfather Part II (1974)9. Rocky (1976)10. Chinatown (1974)11. Alien (1979)12. 1980-May 20111. Trainspotting (1996)2. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)3. The Sixth Sense (1999)4. Saving Private Ryan (1998)5. Pulp Fiction (1994)6. The Matrix (1999)7. The Silence of the Lambs (1991)8. Fight Club (1999)9. Almost Famous (2000)10. Finding Nemo (2003)11. Say Anything... (1989)12.

Skeleton Jelly 2
The Godfather isn't one of your favorites? Nothing about you makes sense!
brvheart 1,768
Interesting and eclectic list. I was also a bit surprised to see Unbreakable on the list much less in the top 5. A bit light on the "Classics" especially pre-1980. But it is your list.Have you ever read The Princess Bride? I read it a long time before they made the movie. The author, William Goldman also wrote Marathon Man and Magic. He is a two time Oscar winning Screenwriter (Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid, All the President's Men) and many many other Screen Plays and Novels to his credit.Yeah, I own it. I read it after I saw the movie.Excitebike.I played excitebike more than any other Nintendo game.
brvheart 1,768
The Godfather isn't one of your favorites? Nothing about you makes sense! It's in my top 100, but the main problem is that I've only seen it once. Avatar 3D in the theater would probably beat The Godfather at home for me right now. If I saw it again (The one time I saw it was probably 5 or 6 years ago), that might change.

hank213 1,824
I need something cleared up, I think I know the answer but I HAVE to be sure. When listing Star Wars movies you're doing so by episode number (the original SW being 4, so the prequels would be 1-3) or are you listing by release order (70s SW = 1, empire = 2 etc)? Mercury69 3
Gov's got it right > This is about your FAVORITE movies, which could actually be crap, so I think anything is fair game to be included. Governator 54
Most of this list is just run off the top of my head. I VAGUELY ranked them but I'm so certain there are about a dozen or so movies that I'm missing that should be in this list and others excluded.
