digitalmonkey 929
We can make a Toronto vs Montreal bet. Toronto makes the playoffs and Montreal doesn't...I give you $67. Montreal makes the playoffs and Toronto doesn't...you give me $67. They both make it or they both don't make it and it's a wash. Book it? hmmmmYou still mulling this over? mrdannyg 274
Les Habitants sign Marc-Andre Bergeron to a 1-year deal. A smart move I think - some probably thought they'd call up Weber instead, but I think they are smart giving him some more time and not just shoving him into the limelight, without even a preseason to practice with the PP.As his FCHL owner, I'm very glad to see him sign, and just hope he'll get ice time. Zach6668 513
They did call up Weber, and they will play with him for a while. Bergeron went to Hamilton to get into game shape.

Guy refuses to tryout with a couple NHL teams that invite, and doesn't even stay in NHL shape while the season is on? I realize playing a couple games in the A is a formality, but 'to get into game shape' is still a scary phrase.
Zach6668 513
I mean, that's just the wording I used, not necessarily the case with him.

You're only my 3rd or 4th top source for hockey info. Though, possibly the most sexified.
coesillian 0
sexy time.I happier with tonights loss than with the last 2 wins. The first 10-15 games are a wash for me, we have a system to learn and so many new players that it'll take time to create chemistry. If play .500 hockey until markov shows up I'll be ecstatic, but tonight we showed some very promissing signs. Our size will be an issues but those midgets generate chances from speed, it's niiiiiiiice. It was my b-day tonight and I was disapointed when the Habs didn't give me my game day victory present. Then I realized that the Habs are just holding out to give me a 25th cup in my 25th year, so I'll have to wait until June.

You should consider letting your team win a game before you talk smack.Hardly smack talk. In this case Serge is making an observation in reply to somebody wondering why they got reemed by Vancouver. If anybody other than Serge posts the exact same thing nobody would think this one is smack. That being said Serge has made about a billion posts that could be considered trolling.I think everybody is very very tired of all the trolling and stupidness from Dale and Serge in the Leaf and Montreal threads.Posts like one that Dale made in the Toronto thread that is basically just a nah nah nah your team is winless one are just going to be deleted from now on which is what I just did.Feel free to make real observations and analysis and the occasional joke is fine but posts that are just hey your team sucks are stupid and only make the person who posts them look stupid. FCP Bob 1,321
WTF happened in Vancouver?!?! Argh!Montreal really really misses Markov. He's their MVP and best player and without him they are going to struggle.

MapleLeafpoker 1,462
gotta agree with Bob, I think the worst thing that could have happened to Montreal, has, and that a long term Markov injury.I haven't watched a lot of their games so far, but what I have seen, seems to suggest Markov is sorely missed. happy belated bday Coe.Roy Jr. seems like a douche. Just like the old man.
Mercury69 3
Montreal really really misses Markov. He's their MVP and best player and without him they are going to struggle.I hear that.I hope Coach gets the defensive assignments mapped out so these guys can understand them lol. And would it be too much to ask for an occasional forward to pinch in in the corners in our end or in front of the net? Gotta take away those shots and esp the rebounds. According to the highlights, that's what really killed us.

So tell me Bob, what is Toronto's record so far?The difference is that Serge answered a question and gave his opinion. Sure his opinion is biased but it was a legitimate answer to the question. It's entirely possible that Montreal isn't a very good team right now.Your post on the other hand was this in the Leaf thread. LEAFS STILL WINLESS! If you want to engage in real analysis and debate about the Leafs in the Leaf thread and do all your stupid stuff in your Leaf's suck thread go right ahead but I speak for the vast majority of the people who read the hockey forum when I say it's really boring and annoying to read the crap from you both that you have posted in the past.
