tall0n 1
I may plan a trip in the spring, if I still have any cash, hit Pittsburgh, VA, Atl, on the way down, then maybe tennessee and Indy on the way back. Won't cost me anything for hotel rooms, that's for sure.Boat Season, FTW!
fryer98 30
It's a 2004 Saturn Ion 2.The reason I asked was GMs from....early 90s to ?? (I thought I was told 2000, but could be later) have a security system problem, just as you explained. Eveything is normal with the power, but when I turn the key, nothing happens. In about 5 mins (sometimes up to 10), the system resets itself and it starts fine. It'll do it a bunch in a 2-3 week period, then not do it for months. There was a car question thought in OT, try posting it there?
fryer98 30
I thought he was bashing the Titan fans for letting that many enemy fans get tickets and come in their stadium.........Oh, if that's the case...then reply is...Cause that NEVER happens with Steelers away games.....for reference, see entire 2005 playoffs, including Indy. Also, related to that game, Ben made a move around Nick Harper, untouched by him, and dove for a first down. I guess that's Ben 2, Nick 0....in personal battles?
vvganeshavv 4
I sent this e-mail to the publisher of my former employer after an incident this morning:Tim: I don't have a problem with being laid off a week before Christmas. I've been with Metroland for about 20 years now, so I'm well aware that the bottom line is always the bottom line, regardless of the time of year. What bothered me, however, was this morning when I took my two boys to the company Christmas party, a mere 48 hours after getting the pink slip. Although I did my best to prepare them we might not be welcome, I was still a little surprised to arrive at NEB's World and not find their names on the bowling list. This is after our attendance had been confirmed earlier in the week. So what must have happened is that sometime Thursday or Friday, someone actually called the organizers of the party and told them to take off the names of an 8 and 5 year old boy who were looking forward to meeting Santa and getting a $10 toy. I dealt with their disappointment as best I could and tried to make the best of the situation. However, I still think this was handled in a particularly crass and classless fashion. Sincerely, Jeff PasqualeWhat an as[/bs]hole...
dna4ever 2
Renae - WOW, you totally rock the casbah. Thank you so much for the Christmas Gift, absolutely AWESOME! :heart:Weekend recap:Dealt poker from Friday 7 pm - 4:30 am - Got home at 5am, slept 2 hours, drove 5 1/2 hours to Flatwoods KY, did Christmas with my folks, got up early Sunday drove to Lexington and did Christmas with Dennys folks. Only games they had on in Lex were the Bungles and the Browns and NE/Arizona which sucked. Left there about halftime and listened to the rest of the game on the radio. Got home and pretty much slept from 8 pm til this morning.Jeff - I too am curious if you get another response back, what jerk-o's. I think you should pull a Michael and drive across the US making as many FCP stops as possible.GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TITANS! Going to get some playoff tickets to the AFC Championship game, hopefully the Titans get there else I may have 2 AFC Championship tix for sale. Hi
dna4ever 2
Oh yeah, Bethany got her drivers permit last week. Both of our vehicles are standards. Needless to say gray hairs are already forming.
fryer98 30
Oh yeah, Bethany got her drivers permit last week. Both of our vehicles are standards. Needless to say gray hairs are already forming. My little brother turned 16 in late Nov. (Everyone I tell this too gets a NO WAY look and says "Man, I feel old." Then, I inform them that he's 6'1, 170lbs. btw, too bad he's not athletic at all.) He's planning to get his over break sometime. They were going to wait to get him a car, but decided him learning to drive on my mom's Caddy or step-dad's Ford SportTrac wasn't the best idea. So, they bought him an '05 Colbolt from some old lady, so it has like 12k miles on it and looks BRAND new.
tall0n 1
Ok. I just don't get it.....................KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man pleaded guilty Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court to second-degree murder in the death of his wife. Stanley Reimer, 52, admitted to throwing his wife, Criste, off the balcony of their 4th floor Plaza Point apartment in August 2007.Court documents state Reimer, the former Nelson Atkins Art Museum accountant, told police he was experiencing extreme financial difficulties and could not care for his wife any longer. Criste had numerous health issues involving her brain and her legs. A caregiver told police Criste could barely walk. Reimer told police he walked with his wife to the balcony of their apartment, kissed her, picked her up and threw her from the balcony. Reimer was sentenced to life in prison. _______________________________________So, the guy had massive financial problems due to high health care. I get that. But killing the bitch is an option? This only ends with you in prison!Let's assume for sake of arguement, the chick was ok with dying, because of severe pain or whatnot. You STILL end up in prison! So how does spending the rest of your life in prison fix ANYTHING? Is that what she wants? To have him get pounded in the ass for the rest of his life?I just never understand these type of scenarios. What am I missing?
jeff_536 3
Boat Season, FTW!Nothing stops me from coming back down. No boats in mid-March, eh?Ok. Had to explain what was going on and Bethany was so excited to show her permit to the cop. Cop was like man, 1st day and already getting pulled over by the cops, pretty funny.Oh, witnessed the greatest comeback I've ever seen in poker history this past Friday.$705K chips in play, down to 3 handed. Short stack was down to $43K with blinds $20K/$40K with $2K ante. Was in the big blind and the idiot answered his phone and they have a rule there if you are on the phone when cards are dealt your hand is dead so he was left with $1K (half an ante) while the other two players shared the other $704K. Long story short, 2 hours later the guy with the $1K chip won the tournament, was unbelievable.

No boats in mid-March, eh?Sometimes guys are psycho too.True, But there's boating in mid march! Just can't tell if you can get in the water in mid march. We've done it before. Last year it took forever for the lake to heat up. Just depends on weather. I don't know about that. He got 2nd degree murder. So he had to think about it. If he thought about it, how did he see it shaking out? seriously.
Nikki_N 17
ohhhh. i like it when you're strict. wait, you're a sub.Yeah, but I can start ordering folks around if it means I'll get something I really want. I want you in Indy.Oh yeah, Bethany got her drivers permit last week. Both of our vehicles are standards. Needless to say gray hairs are already forming.Yikes. I was learning to drive a stick when I had my permit. It was a challenge. I'm glad I know how, now. A lot of people never learn.Vaya con perro, senor. My little brother turned 16 in late Nov. fryer98 30
What did you learn to drive on?My dad's car...a late 80s Buick. Then, once I had my license, I had an '88 Buick Skylark until my older brother totaled it.Your little brother is a lucky bastage.Oh, if you only knew the 1/2 of his spoiledness. I'm ok with it though, for REAL!
fryer98 30
I took her to the ballfield beside our house the day she got her permit...The dad after I got my permit, my dad comes over to pick me up to go driving. I'm thinking he's going to take me to some parking lot first. I get to his car and he's in the passenger seat. I was damn nervous driving right down the driveway and on to the road, first time behind a wheel.
