BigDMcGee 3,367
Now, doesn't she make a 'career' or sorts out of poker? She's gonna see these dudes (and lady) at tournies, and of course these fellows are mostly all well respected, so they'll have some ponies in their stableyeah, but again, so what? If she gets millions from this lawsuit, so what if team full tilt hates her. What are they going to do, Slow roll her? They can't keep her out of tournaments or keep her from playing cash games, so if she's a winning pro ( ahahhahaha) she'll continue to win. She obviously wasn't getting paid by full tilt before, so it's not like anything less can happen now.

timwakefield 69
verbal contracts exceding $500 are not legally bindingOn the other hand, yes they are in most jurisdictions. Also I think you mean oral contracts. FWIW that goes for everybody else in this discussion: you mean oral contract, not verbal contract. A verbal contract can be written or spoken.
DanielNegreanu 141
It's so obvious what she is trying to do. Who do you think posted the link on the internet? She wants to create a stir in the hopes that she can get some kind of home rum settlement figuring FTP can afford it and it's easier to throw money at her and make her go away. All of it based on complete lunacy and lies. I hope she ends up with what she deserves: nothing. She's ruined herself with this move. I'll never speak to her again, and I'm sure I'm not alone. Wiz Adult 0
If there is no contract whatsoever: why was she offered 250k? She must have a case or else she wouldn't enter into such a costly process. Also, surely she must have some form of contract with FTP if she endorses them?

BigDMcGee 3,367
I just want everyone to think, for a moment, that DN isn't the most objective opinion on this issue. He has many close friends in Full Tilt. This issue may not be as cut and dry as he's making it out to be, I'm certain he's only heard one side.

mase_gotsem 0
I thought meth was cheap? BigDMcGee 3,367
Yeah....he might not know what's really up.Are you serious? No, I'm just saying he's biased. I know if someone was suing some of my best friends, I would take their side, and I doubt I would be informed on the other side. The fact is, DN has no idea what things clonie was or wasn't promised by howard or others. He can make an educated guess, but he doesn't know. This is for the courts to decide, and I encourage people to let the courts decide before lighting the torches.

I'd bet a million dollars to your $1000 that she was never given 1% of the company. Actually that's not fair to you. I'm not going to share anything more than that on an internet forum, but Clownie has officially lost her mind and is probably going to end up with nothing, broke, and out of poker within the next two years. It's over for her. Good riddance.
