Every time you guys give Acid credit for stuff, I die a little inside. To further Matt's point, though, the majority of the players we play aren't sure what the glowing magic window in front of them is or why it keeps flashing pictures of queens and kings and deuces.
LOL
Also, screw Tre and his stupid QT hand at the Hard Rock.
TREMOMEY OWNZ UR SOULand we stayed for 10hrs and I just got done staying up for the past 27.Trip report to follow laterand +1 to bulls most recent response...srsly

LOL @ this thread while I was at dinner. OK...Jordan - You make too much moneyRdog - I think you over reacted to Jordans comment, but you were right with what you said.Acid_Knight - I think rdogs win rate of >3ptbb for midlimit 6max is considered pretty good for 10 tabling. But your later posts on HU variance were very good so we'll call it a draw.Naismith - Hi.Everyone else - Please stop feeding Matt's ego.

I immediately conceded the point that his winrate is good as soon as he said he was happy with it. I just didn't know what the going rate for good mistakes 6m winrates were. Also, don't tell people what to do :club:

I bought HEM today after having the trial version of PT3 for the last few months and I think HEM is much nicer. It takes some getting used to, but as many people have already said, it's just way more polished and has some very cool features. One of my favorite features so far is that the hand replayer displays stats for all players at the table which makes reviewing hands much faster for me.Oh, and it also doubled my winrate by using "big blind/100" instead of pokertracker's limit hold'em "big bet/100" which is always nice for the ego :club: .

Guess it's already paid for itself then.

Just saw this on one of the cable news networks, its the Bloomburg report, not sure what channel...."OPEC to cut production by 1.5 million barrels a day by Nov 1."That's so ****ed up. Price gouging mother ****ers. Get ready to start payin out the ass for gas again! It was down to 63.50 or so a barrel, which is still ridic, but now it's gonna jump back up again...sigh.

FWIW, I don't think his post was intended to slight anything about what you do or your approach to the game. I would also assume that playing 60k hands and making 9k is not necessarily great for 1/2, but I also don't know what winrate is expected. Does that work out to 3.75 PTBB/100 (my rough calc) or so? I mean, that's not great if it's what it comes out to and maybe I've missed something in other posts that Jordan's made, but I thought the "58k hands for <10k seems like a beat, no?" comment was pretty harmless.Maybe I just don't know what a reasonable expected winrate at 6m or FR is when you're playing 10+ tables at a time.
3.75ptbb/100 while playing 6+ tables is really sick I think, especially if a lot of it is from playing 10 at a time.
Serious question. Is 10 tabling 6max really more work than 2 tabling HU? If we get away from ptbb and use hourly rate instead, how would this compare to hu?
Absolutely. Personally I find playing two HU tables takes a bit more effort than 4-tabling 6-max, but ten tabling 6-max is like 4-5 tabling HU I would imagine, for most people. Ten-tabling 6-max NL is pretty tough

They cut 500k barrels a day not too long ago as well IIRC.Didn't oil used to trade below $40 two years ago?

I decided to take a shot playing 100plo tonight (I have about 50 buyins for it, but I still call it a "shot" because I never have really played that high).Anyways, through 150 hands, I was $300 below expectation. Ran straights into 2 pair 3 times, and lost all 3. Dropped 5.5 buyins fast. I liked my tables and I felt like I was playing good in my eyes, so I stayed. I have since made back half my losses.[x] Robusto soon

You can change this so you don't get over-confident.
