Speed Limit 0
Hey I'm a big fan of Price too, I mean he does look good. His play in the playoffs was a little lackluster but obv his first playoff and he showed up for game 7 against the Bruins which was big.

Speed Limit 0
Question for the masses....Where do you rank Price in the conference amongst starting goalies?I have him at 9 This article has him #1 (along with his other Montreal netminders) from last year.Just scanning the goalies (and not #'s) I'd roughly put him around 6-7 spot. The guys I like over him are: Brodeur, Lundqvist, Miller, Vokoun, Fleury, and a little iffy on a couple guys (DiPietro, Biron, Ward) but I think I'd end up taking Price over them. ajs510 122
I had Komisarek in the FCHL for a quarter but I dropped him. Mistake?I just don't see him ever really being an offense or PP guy.

Mistake?I just don't see him ever really being an offense or PP guy.no mistake there. He never sees PP time and with all the offensive defencemen in the system he'll never need to. His shot isn't special either.
coesillian 0
This article has him #1 (along with his other Montreal netminders) from last year.Just scanning the goalies (and not #'s) I'd roughly put him around 6-7 spot. The guys I like over him are: Brodeur, Lundqvist, Miller, Vokoun, Fleury, and a little iffy on a couple guys (DiPietro, Biron, Ward) but I think I'd end up taking Price over them. That's a weird list:"Tracking both starters and backups, we ranked the NHL’s 60 goalies based on save percentage, goals-against average, save percentage on the penalty-kill, percentage of games in which the goalie was pulled, percentage of games giving up five goals or more, winning percentage and shutout percentage. By adding together a goalie’s rank in each category, we came up with a score. Obviously, the lower the number, the better. Since having the best backup in the world doesn’t matter if he’s never playing, each duo’s combined score was weighted based on how often each is expected to play. Martin Brodeur’s score is worth 90 percent of New Jersey’s total, for example. All numbers are from the 2007-08 regular season."Ths year I'd put Brodeur, Lundqvist, Vokoun in nets before Price. Miller and Fleury are close so I'll put him below Fleury and above Miller. I have him ranked 5th, but when it come's to long term potential and who would I rather build a franchise around, I'll choose Price over all of them. Honorable mention to Lundqvist. coesillian 0
Ok I'm away a couple of days and the Habs page slips to page two? WTF are you guys doing.I feel so teased by the NHL. WE play like 9 exhibition games and the season has already started but we're still playign preseason games. And now after a few real season games we have to wait another 5 days before our real season starts. Drop the puck already.Saturday i really wasn't interested in the game, I ended up throwing darts most of the time. The habs had spent 2 days 'relaxing' up in Temblant to build team chemistry and they came back sluggish. There wasn't any hustle in their game and I got bored.Pacioretty and Webber have been cut, I'm looking forward to see them again soemtime soon.

sinc 0
actually i think more people were on San Jose than Detroit.No.I really am uneasy about all this public love for the habs though, I certainly think we have the potential but I still do think we are a move or two away from being a legit cup threat. sinc 0
its false hope..Especially since about 10 teams are very closely packed in the East..The Habs can finish first or miss the playoffs..I am hoping for the latter. There is a difference between me thinking we are 1 or two players away from being able to win a cup and us missing the playoffs. I'm sure its just you spewing off at the mouth but I'd love to get a bet in on montreal missing the playoffs, what kind of odds do you want lol?

sinc 0
20 to 1lol so you just said the habs are in a 10-1 group to miss the playoffs then want 20-1, typical.
serge 904
lol so you just said the habs are in a 10-1 group to miss the playoffs then want 20-1, typical.well because 90% of the so called experts think they will win the conference..if thats the case the true odds are 20-
digitalmonkey 929
well because 90% of the so called experts think they will win the conference..if thats the case the true odds are 20-1You keep using the "what other people think" reasoning when, in fact, a bet is between two people and what they think.
