I dont play much PLO and find it kind of boring on tv because I dont undersatnd it that well and just see it as more of a high variance gambling game so Im glad they arent putting PLO on HSP.Id also rather have them film for 3 days and show selected hands then film for 1 day and show everyhand. Maybe show every hand that went to a flop or was atleast 3-bet preflop. I know they probably wont have many raise and take its or walks due to the gambling nature of the show and the high ante structure but I still dont really want to see these hands unless there is table chatter during. I know those hands would add to the viewers ability to see the flow of the game and pinpoint the players ranges better, but I would rather they skip these hands anyways.

I think anyone who plays omaha and makes money playing it will be sad to hear it is not included.as for them showing hands, as they say in the interview it will really help toexplain some of the plays and show the flow of the game a bit better. Who is playing like a nit etcIt will really keep it a complete story

I hope the buy in doesn't go up too much. A $200,000 minimum buy in would be good I think, but a $1,000,000 buy in would just be over the top.

Why keep it low? Much more interesting (albeit less entertaining to the casual poker fan) when there's more on the line and people take the game more seriously (Regardless of whether it actually happens in the games, when the money means more to the players, it should make the games more serious).

On a selfish note, i'm all for no PLO as i haven't a clue how to play itI think a 250,000 BI would be better this season, i'm glad they're looking to increase it

More than half of the value of that show is in the personalities of the players over the hands they play. If Doyle is telling a good story, and there's a walk for the BB, I want to see/hear it. I think you misunderstood.They aren't going to show every hand delt in the session.They are going to show every players hole cards in the hands they do show. (they will show all the hole cards that are mucked pre flop, like they do in WPT)

But a more serious game, can lead to fewer interesting hands. Well maybe the hands are interesting in a different way I guess. It's not just about strategy anymore, the pots are so large it could really effect the players lives.It's a fine balance between stakes that are low enough for players to gamble and high enough for the losses to mean something. IMO the $500,000 game was a bit too high. I don't regard myself as a casual poker fan, but I do enjoy seeing lots of action in the $100,000 game.I'm very ignorant with regards to live high stakes cash games but do No Limit games that big actually occur? Especially without a cap?Also one of my favorite aspects of HSP is the dynamics new players bring when they enter the game. But if the buy in is that large then the pool of players will be smaller so fewer interesting table dynamics will arise.

I think having the buy in too high just decreases the action because people have more to lose on any given hand and are less likely to gamboooool.

Nothing worse than getting it in good and only scooping 3/14th of the pot...
