You didn't finish college, what's he supposed to think?

I remember Jalen Rose talking about taking money once. Like, people become outraged and act like it's a bunch of greedy assholes ruining the integrity of the game, but even if you have a problem with

LBJ > MJ

If Lebron gets a consistent outside jumper the league is gonna be a joke. I don't even like him, but the ease that he gets to the rim when that's all defenses are trying to stop from him is incredible.

he doesn't remind me of a basketball player.. he reminds me of Bo Jackson. Fast and unbelievably strong. That steal/dunk was incredible..

blame Mike Brown all day and all night. The man is a terrible, terrible coach. LeBron needs to get him fired.
+1

I think the man is great...but I almost wish he would have gone to the NFL. Do you realize how good of a tight end he would be?

screw tight end.. he'd be one of the fastest players in the league. He'd be a wideout, for sure. Or the sickest rush end of all time. But probably a wide out.. can you imagine what it would be like for 5'10 Defensive backs, who are SLOWER than him, trying to cover him? He'd be like Randy Moss crossed with the hulk.I mena, I guess he's "Built" like a tight end, but.. he's too fast.. it almost destroys my mind to imagine him at wideout.

I only said tight end because he said in an interview he would be a tight end if he continued to play.Pretty much just every play would only need to be hail mary. The QB would throw the ball up and Lebron would get it.

or he could do crossing patterns and abuse middle linebackers and safeties... it just boggles my mind when I think about it. But he made the right decision. He'll probably make about 30 times what he could in the NFL, including endorsements.

I think we can all agree on this.

I dunno. It's tough to say right or wrong decision. I think he had a good chance to be best ever at w/e position he'd play. It'll be tougher for him to be considered best ever.

He could be one playing striker for Man U.. can you imagine how good he'd be heading the ball on corner kicks and off crosses?
I don't know too much about soccer, except the only game I ever played I got a hat trick against college and pro players. Sorry, that's my only soccer experience and I enjoy telling it.So if he's good at heading the ball he would be highly coveted, even though after he heads it still nothing would happen, the game would end up in a tie and be decided by penalty kicks?

A forward with lebrons strength balance and leaping ability would be a huge target for any guy who can cross the ball with any accuracy. Whats the difference between penalty kicks and sudden death overtime in football, other than its more exciting.

the endless period of utter boredom of watching the ball go out of bounds that leads to the scoreless tie?

what about the other two hours of so called action - i'd rather watch curling
Soccer is to smart and fluid of a game for ADD American kids. But hey, lets watch cars go in a circle for 3 hours! Or games that take nearly a minute between plays because that keeps the action rolling since the ball going out of bounds in soccer really slows the game down. :club: It's no different than the ball going out of bounds in basketball.

no actually it's like a ball going out of bounds in basketball if the court were ten times as long and there were midgets with tennis racquets sitting on the backboard swatting the balls awayhere's a concession to you thoI agree with bill simmons here(Hold on, I'm breaking out the Lloyd Bentsen voice for this next one ...)I've seen the 'Nique-Bird shootout. I've loved the 'Nique-Bird shootout. I was there for the 'Nique-Bird shootout. Pierce and LeBron, that was no 'Nique-Bird shootout.

I wasn't talking about size of the field of play, just as an effect to how long an inbound play takes. The exception for soccer is corner kicks though, since they are one of the best scoring opportunities teams generally take their sweet time getting the ball in play.
