The fact that some of our outs can now fill up opponent or the fact we could be already drawing dead is pretty bad. At least we had a clean shot at the nuts on the flop without a paired board.Yes, flop was horrible for obvious reasons.

yes i agree, and i was actually on pretty bad tilt at the time. the results are that he had AQ and it held.does anyone else here play a lot of heads up cash games?? although not often, i occasionally do struggle with steam control when playing heads up, and i wanted to know if that also effected other people.

I used to play HU all the time, and yes...steaming can really hurt your roll.I took $200 to 6k playing HU 50 and 100nl, titled one night and played 10/20 HU.Weeeeeeeeeee- Jordan

yeah, i play 1 2 NL heads up only because the swings of 2 4 NL are still a little much to me, as i am rolled to play 2 4 as well. that is my normal state of mind. but when ive lost a couple buy ins at 1 2, all i want to do is go get it back at 2 4 and 3 6 haha. this leads to me a story that sounds very unbelievable but sadly, is true. about 5 months ago on Full Tilt, i got up about 8K in 6 weeks. i then lost 1K in 1 day and was full out steaming. so i was planning on cashing it out, and putting it on Absolute Poker to get a check without having to pay a fee. Well when i did this, it said i had to wait 48 hours before cashing out, so lookd around, and who do i see at 5 10 NL by himself? micheal the grinder mizrachi that is who haha. so i sat down with 1000, he had 2000 cause at AP its a 200 BB buy in. long story short, i got all in on a 2400$ pot with JQ vs K10 on a flop of 2JQ, and the turn was an ace. i cashed out and swore off poker.....3 days later i was back. haha. kind of sickening to look back on, but that is an extreme case of what NOT to do when you are steaming, play someone who is cardplayer of the year and who is the main pro on the site.

meh, you need a big roll for hu games.seriously, like 35-40minimum in my opinion.- Jordan
