lurbz 2 Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Well, after finding a book which somehow got published with incorrect punctuation, grammar, and spelling, which I posted in OT and I'm still not sure if Kurt bought or not, I bring this one to this forum because it is poker related, and the single dumbest thing I've ever read that got published as a "poker strategy book".It is written by Ruben Guerrera, although I'm not sure it's Ruben, but I do know for sure the last name there is correct, and is called something along the lines of "Killer Tournament Poker by the Numbers". The foreword is by Annie Duke - but surprisingly, this wasn't the stupid part.I browsed through it, just leafing through looking for anything I hadn't seen before. Everything was standard, ICM, mEV, etc. Then I hit the appendix section and found this gem of a hypothetical situation which consist of asinine concepts previously only thought up by our very own dscoot.Be warned you may need aspirin. As for me, I needed an oxygen tank for laughing too hard. Enjoy.(If this is unreadable to you guys, let me know and I will type out a transcript of it in an edited OP.)After reading this and laughing for a good 15 minutes, causing the Borders employee to ask if I was okay, I put it down and bought Bill Chen's book, because I like looking at brackets, intervals, and feel like paying Bayer 24% of my profits for aspirin.
