Dirtydutch 9
The stakes are unimaginable. The game is nearly impossible. It all starts tomorrow. For those of you who haven’t heard, I’ve taken a wage, with a friend, that I can’t read Goosebumps volumes 1 – 30, by R.L. Stein, in 10 days.Tomorrow at noon I’ll receive all 30 books, and begin. If I fail, I’ll lose what’s most precious to me: a CRT monitor that I haven’t used in years. If I win I’ll be bestowed with marvelous gifts that few can dream of even seeing: an old wireless router and an antenna that I built for him out of a coffee can. It’s on, bitches! I'll post updates when I get a chance.[Added]Here's the list. I'll mark them read every night when I get on.1 Welcome to Dead House2 Stay out of the Basement3 Monster Blood4 Say cheese and Die!5 The curse of the Mummy's Tomb6 Let's Get Invisible!7 Night of the Living dummy8 The girl who cried monster9 Welcome to camp nightmare10 The ghost next door11 The Haunted mask12 Be careful what you wish for...13 Piano lessons can be Murder14 The werewolf of fever swamp15 You can't Scare me!16 One day at Horrorland17 Why I'm Afraid of Bees18 Monster Blood 219 Deep Trouble20 The scarecrow walks at Midnight21 Go eat worms!22 Ghost Beach23 Return of the Mummy24 Phantom of the Auditorium25 Attack of the Mutant26 My hairiest Adventure27 A night in Terror Tower28 The Cuckoo Clock of Doom29 Monster Blood 330 It came from Beneath the Sink! buzbrad11 0
Just watch the movies. It can't be that bad either, they were mildly entertaining as a kid.It would almost certainly take longer to watch a movie version then to read the book. The books are very short, I would have made him read more than 30 in ten days, he will surely win this bet.
