Essay21 2,385
I never feel more important than when one of the assistants brings in something for my signature where I have to approve something. They have to explain it to me and their success is dependent on my approval. The power is intoxicating. I'm drunk with it right now after authorizing a manual check for issue from the vault.
brvheart 1,752
Even though I almost never leave the house I managed to pick up a nasty head/chest cold that started kicking my ass last night. Sucks. Further suckage is apparently these, what we thought were abscesses, may not be since the Doc wants me to come into the office to go over results of a biopsy I did this past Friday. At this point, not sure which is worse. Um. That sucks.

Essay21 2,385
Power isn't a mean, it is an end. You don't establish a dictatorship to safeguard a revolution, you make a revolution in order to establish a dictatorship. Now you begin to understand me.

Essay21 2,385
Always, at every moment, there should be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling an enemy who is helpless. If you want to understand me, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever.

Tiltinagain 973
Um. That sucks. Indeed sir. 1st day was fine, nothing real interesting to report. I did get my evening nurse to go straight to dalaudid before she was there an hour. Usually they want you to start small. Tylenol or some such nonsense. so that was nice. Another RN that I know pretty well got to rewrite the order so I can get it every 2 hours rather than 4. So I got that going for me too.

brvheart 1,752
Today was just a horrible day for football all around. Living in Wisconsin with the Packers playing well (especially winning against my team) is my own personal hell. People wear their jerseys to church on game day. It's ridiculous.

Napa Lite 3,278
Might need my attorney to write some strongly worded letters. The snow plow company didn't scrape or treat a large part of our parking lot and because of that I had a little accident with my car.

Ron_Mexico 4,219
Brvy, now you know how we feel about people actually going to church. It's ridiculous. I didn't watch much football this weekend. Season is over Pro Bowl is in Orlando. I will be sure to avoid that area

Tiltinagain 973
Got home last night. Considering I had 3 days of chemo it wasn't that bad. Dead ass tired today though. Lump on my cheek and chest almost completely gone already. Doc wrote a couple new prescriptions but for whatever reason Medical is holding up paying for them. Ready for my second nap of the day. hank213 1,823
Got a second cat this weekend. He's 13 and was surrendered to the shelter because his previous owner had to go into assisted living and couldn't take him. He's a love bug and super chill.
Napa_Don 688
Good on ya, Hank, even if it is a cat. I'm afraid if I ever got a house that I would end up adopting every senior animal at the shelter just so they have a home for their remaining life.
