digitalmonkey 929
20 Games in Cheap Thieves have allowed 69 goals against which is so far in last place in the AHL it has pundits speechless. The team will lead the league in no goalie games with 11 despite having no empty spots in the playoffs. Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay are the go to pair and both have gotten off to sluggish starts while the goaltending situation in Philly is looking ugly. On Defense, Cheap Thieves are blowing away the competition with 26.5 in 20 games. Only the Shortstackers are close with 23. The emergence of Damon Severson has given the team a ton of depth on the blueline as players like Zdeno Chara have a tough time cracking the lineup on 10+ game nights. Sunday, February 26 Round 1 Game 4 You have no goalies. But you won't make the playoffs anyway
DanielNegreanu 141
Sunday, February 26 Round 1 Game 4 You have no goalies. But you won't make the playoffs anyway Either this is a mistake on my end or that date wasn't listed when I did my playoff goalie matchups. I had 100% which is why I ended up with God Awful Flyers
DanielNegreanu 141
INJURIES PILING UP: T.J Oshie Anze Kopitar Bobby Ryan Jussi Jokinen Kris Russell Thank goodness Jordan Martinook is a superstar waiting in the wings alongside Nick Lappin.
DanielNegreanu 141
How have my goalies matched up on game nights? It's freaking amazing. After 34 games I have gone: 6-20-8 Only 6 times all season have I allowed less than my opponents. Exactly ONE win in October, THREE in November, and off to a "hot start" to December winning TWO after six games.

Welcome to Las Vegas, Marc Andre.
Untilted 158
pitt will smooth out. Fleury is officially unofficially the back up, Murray has been really good. Welcome to Las Vegas, Marc Andre. Rangers might have a problem. I don't know if they can protect both Raanta and Lundqvist? Raanta might be the choice over Fleury
gruven 530
Not 100% sure, but I can think Henrik has a nmc which means he doesn't have to be protected. Fleury doesn't. Neither does Murray. So pens can't protect both. I think.

So pens can't protect both. I think. Having an NMC means they DO have to be protected. The Rangers have to protect Lundqvist and the Penguins have to protect Fleury. http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/official-nhl-expansion-draft-exempt-list-contains-surprises/ They'll have trade Fleury at some point, probably in the summer, in order to keep Murray, the way it looks right now, I think. Zach6668 513
Apparently Fleury can agree to waive his NMC, at which point he can be left exposed. Maybe that's the most likely, unless he doesn't want to end up in LV, maybe he only agrees to waive if it means a trade either this season or in the summer or whatever. http://www.thehockeynews.com/news/article/reported-roster-exemption-list-sets-the-table-for-vegas-expansion-draft1

DanielNegreanu 141
Fun sweats tonight for me as I'm playing Broadway in AHL action and those games have all of a sudden become meaningful for me as I'm currently outside a playoff spot after playing with an open net every other night, but I also need Broadway to beat Ingmen in Champions League action. So Broadway puts the reliable Rangers in net and they allow 6 so far while Ingmen seems to be crushing.
