Team is now down 2-1 to the lowly Ingmen after a bad performance from their goalies in Game 3 of the Reject Cup 1st round. AHL expert prognosticators have predicted the 1st round best of 7 to the Swacker's in 6.... so we need three straight to make him look good! In other news... - Game three had some good and bad stories. William Nylander getting called up was pretty sweet, gave us a 6th forward for the night but as reported the team was let down by the Goalies. Both sets available allowed 6 goals, so I was a bit pissed with my choice early on in the end once the late game happened it turned out it didn't make a difference, both allowed 6G. - It's a shame that Steve Y, the tight-ass couldn't get a deal done for Drouin. Yeah I get that it's mainly Drouin's fault it has come to this but in the bigger picture I think Steve Y not making ANY moves is a bad message to the team. At least show your players you are in for the big win, add some fresh energy to the room. Yes, they are on a big winning streak but I don't think there is any Chemistry to ruin, quite the opposite, add to the chemistry. There must have been some kind of deal out there to add some new faces, depth etc. #managerfail - Nice to have Giroux in there for the playoffs. We had a bit of a scare with a possible concussion but his 4 assists last night shows he seems perfectly fine. No team want to go through a playoff run without it's Captain!
