Potomophobia 17
Went deep in the $250K freeroll at WSOP.com last night. Deep enough so that my winnings did not show up in my account. Then I received an email that basically said "congrats, you won some money... but we are not going to give it to you until you fill out some tax forms. You should get them in the next 24-48 hours. Just follow the instructions and we'll eventually give you your money." Just pay me my money as quickly as you take my deposits.
Potomophobia 17
After a day of sending and resending copies of the W-9 and my "Government Issued ID" I received my money. I think they were just f-ing with me... every copy I sent was crystal clear. "too dark... too bright... blurry... etc." But it's all good. Now... if only Poker Stars were available I'd be handing out stakes for an FCP barrage. 50/50, no stake back. Those were the days.

SuperJon 175
I downloaded the New Jersey Party Poker just to see what it looked like, and how it played. It turns out that since I'm in FL, it wouldn't even let me play the play money games or observe the games. I also got an email letting me know I logged in, and the exact time. They say it gets sent every time you log in. There's a few different withdrawl methods, including check by mail and instant e-check. It wouldn't let me see the deposit methods. Last night there were about 1350 players, and this morning, it's down to 60.

One of the drawbacks with all the players being from one State is that there will be a large difference in traffic at different times of day. If you want to play when most other people are sleeping there isn't going to be a lot of action.

If you want to play when most other people are sleeping there isn't going to be a lot of action. What they should do is just create a national Party Poker/Poker Stars, and then give each state an opportunity to opt-out.
