CaneBrain 95
Not sure the first teamers could have looked worse last night but they did play in a rainstorm so I guess I can try to forget it happened.
SuperJon 175
Not sure the first teamers could have looked worse last night but they did play in a rainstorm so I guess I can try to forget it happened.I watched bits and pieces of last night, only because it's preseason, and well I'm not interested in preseason games. Although, I'll probably watch a bit of the Broncos game tonight to watch my boi Tebow throw for like 783 yards.

SuperJon 175
Yeah he smells nice but his throwing motion blows. He looked better than pretty boy Quinn, and just as good as Orton (with the exception of Orton's two TDs)Not sure how preseason works. Will Tebow get a chance to play with the starters in any of the preseason games?Obviously the only other Tebow post in this thread. Not trying to hijack.
CaneBrain 95
Henne and Brandon Marshall looked awesome Saturday night. that is super encouraging. The secondary is still a mess though.....Vontae and Sean Smith need to step it up.

CaneBrain 95
God, the "cute, playful Dolphins" part cracks me up every single time.yeah, pretty much.the only problem is the new dolphins song by jimmy buffet is ten times worse.
CaneBrain 95
Ronnie Brown looked great, Chris Clemons looked great, Brandon Marshall looked great, rookies as a whole looked great.Chad Henne needs to be better and the secondary needs to learn to catch balls aimed at their chest. Dolphins should have won by at least two scores. A win is a win though.
CaneBrain 95
Not bad at all. 2-0 start on the road. If they could split the Pats and Jets coming up, they are in amazing shape.
SuperJon 175
Defense played amazing today.I was so pumped after that first drive on offense. Then they only throw the ball 15 times the entire game. What the hell Miami? Did nobody tell you that you actually have a really good receiver that can stretch the field now?Been a fins fan since I started watching football, but this conservative play calling that's been going on for over 10 years now is just really pissing me off.Sorry. And they won the game.To agree with you: Sparano and Co. definitely get too conservative with leads. Just one good drive by the offense in the 2nd half ends the game way before things got tense. JoeyJoJo 18
Please please please Miami beat the Jets. I need this for my LeBatard listening pleasure. But I'm not too hopeful that Miami will be able to score, like, any points against them.

I think (BOLD PREDICTION): Henne ends up throwing more than 15 times this game. This could definitely be a first team to get to double digits wins kinda game.

CaneBrain 95
Sporano is a douche. Take your sunglasses off inside, asshat."That was apparent again Sunday, when broadcasters on CBS — and later NFL Network — made light of Sparano wearing shades indoors in Minnesota. No, he's not trying to look cool. It's been repeatedly written, locally and even by The New York Times, that Sparano's eyes were splashed with hot grease when he was working in a Connecticut restaurant as a teenager. He lost his sight for a month and, even today, tears up easily when exposed to bright light. That's why he keeps his office fairly dark."WHO FEELS BAD NOW?!?!
GeneralGeeWhiz 0
I still don't get all the hype about the Jets.they talk a lot of smack. it's their style. but they're overrated. so is mark sanchez.

Sanchez looked good in the playoffs and they made a lot of "splashy" offseason moves. They are also a New york team which means they will be overhyped at times (see the offseason) and unfairly thrown under the bus during periods of adversity (see after Week 1). Of course, they have way too many problem guys on the roster and Braylon Edwards is blowing up in their face. I think the Jets are pretty legit overall but I would not put them ahead of Indy, Baltimore or Pittsburgh as premier contenders. They are 2nd tier with NE, Miami, San Diego and Houston (and maybe Cincy/Tennessee).
