I remember when this thread was all about how bad KJ was at 3betting

He's probably not flatting KJ's raise otf if he had a2. Besides, A2 is such a small portion of his range here, we are never ever ever ever ever ever ever folding the turn. People are stupid, they do

i would kinda lean towards villain having a FD in this hand.. maybe he chose to donk his FD on flop and turn and gave up on river.we may have very well have had the best hand the whole time here.
Based on results I'd say it's very likely that villain had been betting the draw, but there's nothing inconsistent with him betting a made hand and then checking to induce. It's not as if the line makes no sense.

July:Played more hands than ever before, but I didn't play them all well.Picture4-5.pngCash: ($170)Rakeback: $125Volume propbet: $25Online Total: ($20)Live: $70Total: $50I kept working on my game by being involved in sweats and reviewing HHs and talking poker. I watched a lot of videos and feel like I continued to learn and get better, so I'm not worried, although I was soul crushed most of the month. I took time off when I was playing really badly, but never really got anything going. So August goals;12-15k handsContinue to be involved in strat discussions, sweats, and HH reviews.Watch videos critically

Your showdown percentage is a tid bit on the high side. You don't c-bet nearly enough. You're probably never double barreling. You're probably not betting for value thin enough. You're probably not bluff catching.

FTR he didn't give showdown numbers that I can see. That WWSF% is absurdly low though, most people have it around 41-47% iirc

yeah i need to stop quick glancing in this thread that's like 2 major oops...so yeah you should definitely be winning money more than 1/3 of the time you see flops that's insane low. All the signs just point to you being a fit/fold player who isn't fighting for a single potJon. The example above is indeed a nice bluff catch... the point about bluff catching for redline mobnies is... say you are in a river spot where you're getting 2:1 on your money to pick off a bluff and you're right 40% of the time in this spot. It's a clear call because you will profit long term, but on the graph you will see your blue line drop (since you'll be losing showdowns more often) and your red line rise since you aren't giving up uncontested.I think the redline is the most misunderstood part of the graph... people seem to think that big redlines are signs of huge bluff frequency... when really a lot of the times it's just making value plays to the proper thinness

I was going to post a longer reply but I decided to lose money and get tilted instead so I'll do that tomorrow. I did an initial look at my stats based on the info on this 2+2 thread http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/78/micro...-thread-158015/It seems to suggest there that 35% is the min for winning players, I don't know how accurate that is.

I think you are pretty much 100% right, playing at the lowest levels probably gets you into bad habits because of how the villains play there. I definitely need to add stuff like double barreling to my arsenal now I'm playing 25NL, at lower levels it seemed extremely rare that people were folding turns after calling flops. Here are some further stats I've filtered upSaw flop in positionflop cbet 53%flop cbet success 50%WTSD 21.9%W$SD 56%W$WSF 42%bb/100 78.70hands 415Saw flop out of positionflop cbet 44.4%flop cbet success 45.5%WTSD 19.9%W$SD 60%W$WSF 29.5bb/100 25.86hands 528In position especially I guess I need to just hammer the c-bet button and look for decent turn cards to follow on with. I've found 26 hands where my c-bet was raised or check raised to go over as well, which I thought was happening a lot more and was partly why I let my c-bet % drop so much but it's like 26/452 hands.
