Merby 3
Hey BG,I've recently been practicing playing other poker games at the casinos. I feel that I have mastered No Limit Texas Hold Them and Pot Limit Omaha Hold Them and would like to branch out to the Stud Poker and Draw Poker games. So far, I have been enjoying them immensely, but have been struggling with the subtle nuances of the games. In particular, I would like to become a World-Class Carribean Stud player and a Video Draw Poker Champion. How often should I bluff the dealer in Carribean Stud Poker and when should I "snow" the machine while playing Video Draw Poker (Jacks or Better)? How do you put the Video Draw Poker Machine "on tilt"? Under what conditions do I "float" the dealer in Carribean Stud Poker?Basically, I am looking for some general advice and strategy to beat up on these games in the casino. Many thanks,Merby

I caught the link in the archives on your profile. The JJ limp had my eyes open like dinner plates and a good laugh.Great post!

JSpencer 0
Time to tighten up, 4 re buys is my maximum for a one hour session, so I am dangerously close to having to watch High Stakes Poker for the rest of the night. I fold like 5 hands in a row. Rocky rock rock. I could probably get them to lay down QQ to a serious re raise from me now.But then this really tough hand came up. I have 78 spades (yes) and call a minimum raise, probably aces. They should just take out a billboard that says “I Have Aces” when they min raise. So the flop is 9 10 A with the 9 a spade. Wow, this one’s big. I have an open ended straight draw, a backdoor flush draw, and a backdoor straight flush draw. Now I’m almost hoping he has AA so I can destroy him. Did I mention this is Mr. One Arm, my nemesis.BalloonGuy on FCPThis made me lol. Sounds like my thought process.
