I'd bet a little more (~$8) on the flop. Definitely betting turn again. BTW, final pot gives away the action almost :club:

I love how you not only beat me to it, but independantly wrote up almost the exact same description as I did and even chose the same hands.
Except, he said that 60SKD (SKlansky Dollars) were earned, and you said 80SKD were earned. Who is right?

Semantics. You have $160 in sklanksy bucks equity, you made $60 SB profit.Or because Acid's example was for a $100 pot rather than $200, it's $80 sklansky bucks, and $30 SB profit.

God Phil Hellmuth is so bad at cash games.4-way pot, guy bets 4k into a 4100 pot on a A975 board with K4, Hellmuth calls with JT. River 4, guy checks, Phil checks it back. Apparently he thought his JT high had a chance at being good.

What you guys think best line is here on the flop. This guy was super passive post and this is the first time he raised me postflop in 125 hands. He always check called with any pair including tptk and he also 3bet a decent amount so I would think AK and AQ prob 3bet pre but he has flatted with AJ. I think its better for me to flat here rather than 3bet because his hand range is really narrowed to A4, 44 or air.. im never folding but I figure I should let him bet his air again on the turn. FWIW I started out cbetting like 100% but he wasn't ever folding so I started checking back a lot of air. I'm about to purchase PT3-any reason why I shouldn't do this? I thought PokerEV was coming out soon but I don't know if it has a firm release date.I got a new desktop almost a week ago that's super sweet and hooked up dual 24' monitors so I can play more tables/watch more porn etc.http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_...duct_id=0291281My new monitor is much brighter than my old one, I don't really care tho.http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_...duct_id=0291723I've been playing short cash game sessions and tourneys this past week without a HUD and sometimes I wish I had numbers on ppl. While I'm asking questions what are some good recent CardRunners vids to watch? They can be any game, I just want to be amused. I've had CR for almost two years and have watched like 1 video a month. I def squeeze max value out of my subscription.Edit: Simo I will pay for your ticket if you fly out here and make my computer setup awesome for the pokers

Holdem Manager is better than PT3 (PT3 still has a lot of bugs and performance issues, and still lacks any luck stats). PokerEV will almost certainly blow both of them away.PokerEV *should* (I hope) be out by the end of the month.

Yeh it seems like he can only have A4, 44, an overplayed Ax, or air here so I'd just call flop, and call turn if he leads else bet.

I think I need to get PT3 now just to have a hud but if PokerEV looks good when it comes out I might get that and return my PT3. I hope they let me do that.

[ ] Min-3betting preflop is sometimes a good idea.

HEM offers a trial period. I think it's something like 2.5K hands which may do you for a little while if you're not doing a lot of volume. I had PT2 & GT+ and have been trying out HEM and like it fairly well so far. Mostly for the things that all the next gen trackers have like 3-bet/fold to 3-bet kind of stats.I like the way filtering works in PEV much better than the way it works in HEM. Also HEM doesn't do "sklansky bucks" calculations on all showdown hands but only all-in hands which seems kinda lame to me. Assuming the PEV has all the basic functions of HEM I think it's going to be the clear winner. Right now I'd likely chose HEM over PT3 just because from what I've heard PT3 still isn't totally stable.

For more fun showdown graphs. My database is from March, just before I went on a month-long road trip. It's missing a ton of hands played on Java. I don't quite lose money in showdown hands, but I'm not exactly making bank.showdownyr.jpgAlso, Acid and I have the same phenomenon where we're running bad (or in his case, slightly above expectation) overall, but running really, really well in All In EV. Anyone have any idea why that might be the case?
Wow... Here is my HU graph since I started playing. Completely opposite.7-22-08.jpg
