6-max is sooooo slow and then, like, I can't run at 50 VPIP. When I was playing 6-max a ton, I remember the struggle to get below 30 VPIP.

in general, both concerns can be improved by opening more tables.

yeah, that factored into my mind, as someone who is a poster at a poker forum is more likely to float and make a play on the turn. I think your line of calling then donking is probably the best.
It was a float. I had T9s. Glad to see the CR wasn't just a play. NH. Apparently the session is going to be a Deucescracked video.

I like these hands where we know both sets of holecards and thought processes. If you were called on the turn and checked-to on the river what would you do?Also, I'm scared at all these PT stats of people running 15/13 etc. *hides his 19/11 under the rug*

If he called the turn, I was done with the hand...unless I hit my gutshot.I have no idea what my stats are. Dang PT3 for Mac vaporware.

For more fun showdown graphs. My database is from March, just before I went on a month-long road trip. It's missing a ton of hands played on Java. I don't quite lose money in showdown hands, but I'm not exactly making bank.showdownyr.jpgAlso, Acid and I have the same phenomenon where we're running bad (or in his case, slightly above expectation) overall, but running really, really well in All In EV. Anyone have any idea why that might be the case?

Wow, totally missed being called out here, feel obligated to respond. If you think of me as a troll then you seriously need to learn 2 internet. Over 90% of my posts are constructive and full of poker content, I rail FCPers when they make a thread, and when I do ask for advice on a hand I convert it and make sure that it's actually threadworthy. Those traits seem to place me firmly in a least the top 50% of people who post on these forums. Now, I'm the first to admit that on occasion I do enjoy giving people shit. Some days are boring, and some people do/say stupid shit on the internet and deserve to be needled for it. But if you had any familiarity with the standards of this mass experiment in anonymity that we call the internet then you would understand that this is a very normal activity. What defines a troll is that the majority of what they post is meant to piss people off. I, on the other hand, am a valuable contributor who every once and a while likes to upset people. That probably makes me a douchebag, but it's nowhere near enough to qualify me as a regular troll.Just because I owned your dumb ass in some thread (want to remind me which one? I apparently haven't been paying nearly as much attention to you as you have been to me) doesn't mean you need to take your time to try and call me out as a troll in a thread I hadn't even posted in.Damn, I'm just shocked that after trolling maybe 2 or 3 threads I've got some moron trying to follow me around and tell me where I can't post.Sir, a strong argument can be made that I'm a bit of a loser for getting kicks messing with people over the internet. But apply those own standards to your own behavior. Realize that you've taken it on yourself to "defend" a forum from the most innocuous threat conceivable and decided to do so via the most asinine means imaginable. You've reached a whole new level on the internet loser scale.

See you next time... :club:
FWIW, I usually try not to sit with FCPers or ppl I know. Though my best friend sat in my 25NL game on Stars, so I had to take a nice pot off him with a set.

[x] states true facts about my poker skills/BR[x] fails to give alternate reasons why you made your post in the first place, thus lending credibility to my "super internet loser" theory[?] give me a funky-ass bass line?As I always say, the only people who think that something is pretentious are those who aren't good enough.

Oh, and by telling me to GTFO you kind of made it a challenge for me to stick around (huh, a challenge in the challenge thread).Talk about counter-productive. Not only are you making a super lame attempt to protect an internet forum, you're ****ing it up.

Not sure where I lose at the internet. Seems that anyone that takes the internet and is able to use it to profit would be considered an internet winner?Anyways, I've had my laughs, I will no longer bait you and I will prevent further destruction of this glorious thread.

OK I'll stop now. Let's be friends! I'll teach you poker. You teach me how to speak English like a British noble.Edit: What's your AIM?

I don't have much time to play poker, I spend most of my time spending my money (all in guineas, not pounds) on opium and the white slave trade.EDIT: Thanks for the new signatureEDIT: I'll actually PM you my AIM, since I'm bored and would really like to see this one play out.

seriously nl10 is so easy, any aggression (except from aggrotards, but there are much less than you think) and I'm dumping most one pair hands. And if I'm not, I'm trying to play a small pot (like with maybe tptk, or an overpair)
I'm still a little lost as to how to adjust post flop play correctly at the moment :club: - I think that's what i'm gonna try and work on the most.
-> Either you tend to fire too many barrels at calling stations/passive players or you overvalue your TPTK/overpair type of hands when raised.
Which stats in PT tend to define calling stations?

Low PFR as they like to call more than raise. Low AF as they tend to be passive on all streets. Usually high VPIP, though not always. You can have like 20/0/1 stations as well.
