My only real worry is that he allows four goals and I lose the under It's funny, the only bet I took that I wasn't in love with was the Leaf game, and they came up big. I wasn't going to take that, but they were FLYING at morning skate today. And Ovechkin I figure is just like your theory on Afinogenov.... he scores in bunches... and he is a little hurt, so I thought I might sneak that one in on a good pay line.. First of all, you have a number in that that doesn't make sense. You either bet the straight money line, or the goal/money line. For example, you have Was +0.5 -1.16 OR you can bet on Washington +1.40. Make sense? Also, did you bet including OT or in regulation? I'll assume you chose regulation and goallines:Washington +0.5 -1.16 (win $500)Tampa Bay +0.5 -1.46 (win $500) Did Toronto go over? If so, you win $500 x $1.23= $

DanielNegreanu 141
I'm starting to feel like a genius now, lol. I could just see a 2-1 final in my head in this game. Dallas might end up winning, but I still loved my value here. If things start to go this well consistently I'll be quitting poker.

Got a backdoor cover of the over by Washington scoring late in the game. Not a bad start at all. DN, nice call on the Canucks game. I layed off that game, but you were right, the play was definitely Under.Digitalmonkey: If you look at my stat sheet, it shows I played for 4 different teams that year, but I was an emergency call up for only 1 game each (San Antonio and Utah vs. Cleveland). I think the record I might hold is playing for 4 different teams in Cleveland's Gund Arena lol. that was weird.

sp227 0
Sadly my cousins career came to an abrupt end actually part of the reason they wear visors in the AHL now. Jordan Smith he played defence for the pirates and took a puck in the eye while boxing a guy out in the defensive zone. He lost his eye and his career in his first season.Wow, that is horrible! I remembering hearing about that although I can't say I remember Jordan since I never played against him. I always wore a visor because I have a bad (20/80 vision) in my left eye and if I ever got a stick/puck in my good eye I would have been in real trouble. As much as I hated wearing the thing (players would always chirp me since I played aggressive and wore a shield) I think it is a good rule to have for the safety of the players. sp227 0
2006 YTD 2-0 [+2.00 units]Here are my plays/analysis for tonights games:Montreal u6 -110This game should be a low scoring game for a few different reasons. I like the fact that Montreal will be without Higgins on offense and even though Kovalev is expected to play, he was banged up last game and had to leave. Both teams have good defenses 2.77 and 2.62 GAA. Edmonton has to come cross country for this meeting as well.Minnesota +130I think you find tremendous value here with Minnesota on the road. A great matchup of two top teams in the NHL. The top PP vs. the top PK. The Sharks have won relying on their PP so far this year, and I don't see them being able to crack that Wild PK. This game can go either way really, but I'm very comfortable taking the plus money and the better defense!Dallas -110This game jumps out at me for a couple reasons. I know Dallas just lost a tough game to Vancouver last night, but they are getting Turco back in goal tonight and they have not lost two in a row all season, while Calgary has not won two in a row all season. This is not the same Flames team as a few years back. Once again lots of value here with the Stars on the road.Good luckSam

digitalmonkey 929
never underestimate a team playing with injuries in the short term. Everyone sees the opportunity to earn more ice time, and the bottom guys on the depth charts and the call ups play out of their minds. Edmonton +135 $500EDIT: It appears gruven has inside information on this game that would allow him to go against his original statement.I will not remove the as he is still betting against my Habs.
