Agree completely about rhcp and sublime. The Doors I think are titanically overrated, but I do enjoy many of their song with ironic glee. But I'm a sucker for organists in rock, and there are a lot of their songs that I enjoy mostly because of Manzarek. I think it's good solid rock-pop. Not the key to some sort of transcendental truth of existence or w/e like some stoned out doors fans think. But I'll tap my foot when love her madly comes on, and smile when people are strange comes on.
