If they're freaked out because a 40 year old showed up unexpectedly (unannounced to the parents), this is gonna weird them out even more. You have already come and gone from their lives, even if you did act like a prick. Move on, like I'm sure they did. Learn from it rather than complicating matters trying to undo it.In my honest (not trying to be mean) opinion, you need quite a bit more introspection. Not only about the racism bit, but also about why you shouldn't be hanging out with kids less than half your age. Your probably lucky the boy's father didn't give you a swift kick in your "seriously cowardly" butt on the way out the door. ROFL In the original post I found it odd that the OP didn't state his age. Also once he dicovered it was high school kids, then get the fk outta dodge what is he waiting for.
